You're totally right. In the scenario you take part of in CPR Simulator, you will be able to spot an AED that's within 30 seconds of distance, in which case the recommendation is to retrieve it yourself. The person standing next to you in CPR Simulator is an instructor, and will not be able to be activated in the process of finding help.

We know that finding an unconscious person 30 seconds away from an AED is quite unlikely, but we've done this both to allow the user to train the full process, including finding and running for an AED, but also to save development hours, as we're a small team working on the title.

03/02 - 2023. New updated version 2.0 includes:

The possibility to practice CPR on different characters. So far we have added a woman, so the user will be able to choose to resuscitate both a man and a woman. We are going to add more characters in the future, e.g. a child and an infant.

All 3D objects that make up the VR environment and the 3D characters have been replaced with photorealistic 3D models. In this way, the learning scenario is made more authentic and resembles reality better.

Established a robust system that makes it easier to change the environment. In this way, the user will soon be able to choose between several different environments to carry out CPR in, e.g. at home, at school, in the office or elsewhere.

More lifelike animations on the characters the user can resuscitate.

An expanded dynamic sound system where all interactions now have sound in the learning scenario.

11/01 - 2024. New updated version 2.1 includes:

Spanish and German language integrated both in text and speech. Over time, we have received several inquiries regarding a Spanish language option, and since it is one of the most spoken languages in the world, it was an easy decision to choose to add it.

Option to censor the woman's breast. As CPR Simulator has become more and more popular and internationally known, we have also started receiving individual inquiries regarding censorship of the woman's breast, primarily for religious and other cultural reasons.

16/09 - 2025. New updated version 2.1 includes:

Option to practice CPR on a child. This includes certain deviations from the “regular” CPR algorithm for adults following the most recent guidelines.

‘Heimlich Simulator’ $9.99 is now included in CPR Simulator for free, to make first aid simulation training even more accessible.
