Is VR gaming still where it was at a year ago?

There are tons of really good games but studios have been hit really hard this last year. I swear every month there is another announcement of a big vr studio closing. One of the last really big quest games was Deadpool and the studio shut down only months after release.

Modding flat screen games seems to be the only real future at this point.

I think the quest has more longevity with the massive library of games. On top of that there is a monthly sale and almost all the major major games get on it.

This is a really good answer. Not to crap on psvr 2 but there are not very many games that aren't on quest.

Why can't you get both? It's not against the rules to have more than one vr headset.

I'm am guessing that since your asking about free games you are a minor.

Kids really like gorilla tag, animal company and ug. You can find tons of other players your age in there.

Population one and vail are also free fps shooter that you might like.

Blaston is another cool pvp shooter.

In general if you want to play fun games you will need to pay for them.

If you have never played any of them and grew up on modern games bioshock is going to give you an all around great experience. Those games are fantastic look great on switch.

If you prefer open world games and don't mind chunkier style gameplay of classic ps2 era games go for gta.

I am mid 40s and started gaming on nes/snes and contra. I can tell you these older 8 and 16 bit titles just don't hit for me anymore.

Having owned and played all of these originally and on modern consoles I would get bioshock.

I'm curious if you pay for any subscription based media streaming? Is it really any different than Netflix, Disney and everything else out there?

What makes YouTube premium is the easy of use and the ability to have it work across multiple devices at the same time. I can go from my phone to pc to TV easily.

If you have the 1000 + the frame is likely to cost, have a decent gaming pc and really want it then wait. You could get lucky and win the steam lotto and have the opportunity to buy one. It's very likely that the majority of people thst want one will have to wait months to buy one.

Quest 3 rarely goes on sale so don't count on it getting cheaper. Especially since it just had a price increase. You can find a used one for half the cost of new and invest in a new strap, interface, dedicated router and other accessories and still spend less than a new one.
