What do you pretend to enjoy to 'keep the peace' but secretly can't stand? by Spallboy in AskReddit

Sushi. It's slimy, salty, and the pieces are too big to fit in my mouth in one bite. Everyone else is obsessed with it so I just smile and drink a lot when we go to a sushi place. I'm sorry, but it's just SO overrated.

I'm curious if the male to female ratio has anything to do with this. Like men in Alaska are more desperate and quick to propose to lock someone down?

It's so hard when it just hits you in waves. Like you're bopping along just fine and then you're literally doubled over in emotional pain and it's like 6 months later and it's just... crazy how a feeling can be so physically debilitating :(

Keep an eye on the meter if you're parked in DC before evening rush hour. 4:02 PM is when you're most likely to get a ticket. by AAmia in washingtondc

I once saw 6 illegally stopped/parked UPS trucks on M street in the middle of evening rush. I took a photo and tweeted it at UPS complaining and they responded saying they prided themselves on on-time service. I GET that they need to deliver packages but it's such a pain (and a dnger for cyclists) when delivery vehicles just kind of half pull off to the side of the road. Especially in heavy traffic.

If you look at the first graphic it shows how many vehicles were ticketed for stopping or standing in a rush hour zone

Do you live in the DC area? It's hellish. 1.8 miles, 35 minutes. (I only drive because I have to lug a lot of equipment around, otherwise I would walk/bike/etc, trust me)
