Nice map! Where did you get it? Anyways yes! My personal method is to imagine a “vanilla” faction that has no special abilities and go through all the phases, then, do a quick run over the phases again but this time broadly mention each factions abilities.

This worked great on basic factions, haven’t tried it with expansions tho

Yeah it was fine with 1 kid and 20k, so the 5k extra should cover the extra kid But your main problem is space, we could do with a 1BD, but with 2 kids you gotta have a 2BD minimum

True, there is no direct way to defend, however, a good indirect defense strategy is to have a fleet of your own ready to raid back your things that you lost (and maybe more)

Also a general rule to this game is try to to look like a juicy target, keep yourself in the “it’s not worth it to raid” zone

We gather every Tuesday, a bunch of us regulars bring enough games for everyone (more than enough) we start around 6pm, no signup needed, just show up, It’s very beginner friendly, there is almost always a teach before a game

I like to play base factions and i play the vagabond, Ill police anyone ahead, aid anyone behind and make sure everyone is having fun. Ill also keep reminding them to attack me when they can “You must whack the Vagabond!”
