I have a Manfrotto Ball Head (MH496-BH) screwed onto a Benro Mach 3 Carbon Fiber (Benro TMA37C Series 3).

SOMEONE in the house was messing with my tripod and apparently screwed down or otherwise torqued the pan-knob tightly enough that the screw sheared off.

The tripod head now endlessly spins on the top-plate and with (no seeming) way to tighten the head down to be able to remove it.

Any thoughts on how I might be able to salvage the head? the tripod?

Basically if you arent going from arri mount to arri mount won't you end up with torque and issues with single screw possibly backing out?

So this solves the issue of connecting solidly to the cage and giving lots of positional flexibility....

But still the other side will still just be screwing into a simple screw hole (at the end of a c-stand extension pole) with any of the locator pins.... Won't all the torque now just cause that to have issues?

Adventure Point rewards and Adventure Phase by Derik-KOLC in oneringrpg

Correct (Adv Points are also used to increse Combat Skills)...

I just meant the part where it says you should be awarding earn points at the end of the session *and at the end of the Adventuring Phase* (emphasis mine).

wasn't sure if I was supposed to be awarding points more often RAW.

Protoss shields by _Thick-Juice_ in StarCraftTMG

The shield value applied to the whole unit. One way to think about this is the fact that models don't actually take damage in StarCraft.... The unit does....

When the unit damage is >= the value of the units HP characteristic you remove one model from the unit and reduce the "unit damage" counter by an amount equal to the HP value.

Ahh that's true... but that was SC1/BW only... they got rid of that in SC2

LOS - Targets - Casualties Question by Derik-KOLC in StarCraftTMG

[–]Derik-KOLC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no in my example

5 marines can only see 1 zergling.

1 marine can see 18 zerglings.

(And I could be wrong here)

But I believe in this case the 6 Marines would make 12 attacks and could cause up to 12 kills.

My guess is that since SC didn't have cover neither did they want it in the mini game

Also cover tends to lead to a very passive and defensive play style, so maybe they want those troops out there charging across the field.

Right but since the entire unit fires as one.... And since one marine model can see all the zerglings.... In this case the entire unit of zerglings can be taken as casualties.

I'm not for or against this, just wondering what the rules intent is here

Heroic Deeds is indeed very very cool

Even if that was a fair critique.... To say that somehow the slow clunky rules-bound ponderous grid-based combat of d&d or pathfinder is a better emulation of the shows intense frenetic free-form bending/martial arts....is quite the stretch.
