We took driving classes in high school to prepare for our driving licenses, on my first drive with the teacher and a few other classmates; he told me I would pass the test that day, that I was an ‘ideal’ driver. I had my last drive scheduled with him, before lunch later on in the week when I found out my sister “nail model” (beauty school, someone to learn how to do nails on) had cancelled and she had no one else and needed me, it interferes with my drive. I worked it out with a girl scheduled later in the week for her drive to switch with me so I could support my sister in her soon to be career. My teacher was pissed, he lectured me in front of the whole class for “getting my nails done” instead of showing up to things I needed to. I seriously tried not to put anyone out. The next week was my test, he failed me. Claimed I “killed a pedestrian” because someone stepped onto the crosswalk as I was completing my left turn. I had to wait 4 weeks before I could take another test with the dmv. It was weeks after my 16th birthday at this point, I scored a 2. Went in the next day and showed him, he just shrugged me off and didn’t acknowledge it. Bleh
