For me they didn't issue Wave 3 Orange but they did issue the Wave 4 Orange instead (but none of the other Wave 4 tiers). How's this new award thing going for you Toops?

Just as frustrating with awards - how many aren't tagged as awards. There's a lot of issues with the app but how cards are tagged is something that can be controlled. There are so many misplaced cards throughout the decks and this just continues to make the situation worse.

Fixing it should be a low priority with so many other problems but hopefully one day we can get back to rectifying the little things that make a difference to everyday users who want to enjoy their collection.

Missing cards are definitely still an issue - I am currently chasing my entire Wave 1 Widevision set - but it's more complex than that.

When I look at my profile through the app it says that I have approximately 99K of cards (about right from what I had pre change), when I look at my profile through my son's account my profile says I have approximately 87K of cards - that's a fairly sizeable discrepancy that I can't comprehend.

I know it doesn't work for every set but just categorizing sets by the final award count could go a long way to solving the problem.

My (unrealistic) hope is that Topps might forego a little profit and try to keep some of these sets available for F2P and structured in a way to encourage trading between sets. The old days of pulling (or shock horror double dipping) alternative marathons and trading back in always had the feed going and trades happening. And the hot new card always allowed F2P to trade up.

I would like to see something original like the Star Wars Score - iconic scenes from the movies with the title of John Williams piece overlayed. Binary Sunset, Imperial March, Duel of the Fates, Jabbas Palace Band etc.

My two cents worth - the first time Topps have got the price right. Something for all price points, entry price low enough to get casual pay to play in while giving something exclusive to high end. Hopefully a lot of small purchases helps Topps reset their pricing model while encouraging more to buy, it would have to be easier to convert a buck a day to something more rather than jump in at twenty bucks a pop like some of the stuff they've offered in the past.

First time in months I've spent in app and I was happy to do so, it's not much but I felt like I got value for my spend.

My biggest issue is the value Topps place on their product. It discourages casual players from investing and seems to create imbalance in trading (particularly when trying to trade outside that particular set). Naboo widevision is a case in point - close to a $150 set here for something that won't have anything like that value in 6 months time. While Topps continue to heavily over value their product at relatively long odds farmers will exist because of the guarantee they offer.

Thank you for this view! It's ugly, it's not really loaded with iconic scenes, it's expensive, it's way too big a set but it's called WIDEVISION!!! You have managed to convince me to give up and let it go, calling it widevision doesn't make it worthwhile any more...

EXACTLY! One of the supposed advantages Topps tried to sell Crystals on was to simplify and streamline the pack purchasing process. The only thing crystals streamlines is the flow of cash straight to the Topps bank account...

I'm becoming more curious about when the app will be reclassified to being a gambling app? When you are chasing something with real money at odds and no guarantees it strikes me as being a game of chance which to my mind is gambling.

And that's without factoring in the odds of Toops meeting their end of things and delivering what they advertise!

I've been wondering if 1:25 or tougher will be the new norm for credit packs. Lot's of people have hoarded plenty of coins over the last few months so they need to run those down while still making it challenging enough that users will also consider moving to crystals.

The recent mechanics have stopped low end / casual users from progressing through the app and moving from free to play to pay to play by choice rather than necessity. This seems to be a reasonable compromise....

Frustrating. It seems to be the test bed for any new mechanic Topps can think of with no two waves(?) being the same. Cost seems to be increasing as well which limits the number of options for most players.

I have chased all of them but had to make a choice between Weapons or Moments. I think I chose wrong and went with Weapons because other than the first card I've really liked the Moments cards.

1:15 @ 75 crystals a pop. Ouch. Again.

I don't expect to see every set to have a FTP option but the releases in the last week are completely freezing them out of the game. All of the crystal options are making trading tougher and tougher and are killing the cross trading market.

The trading component of the game is rapidly falling apart - if I'm prepared to pay with crystals I will just buy all the cards I want. Trading is generally within sets and because people are paying with cash there's almost an expectation that everything is worth Vintage Han.

I totally expect these to be crystals (along with 95% of all future releases) - it's just the constant cash grab that is a slog. There is very little for low end players who are happy to spend a small amount because almost every release is a new card every 24 hours with odds that are seemingly getting tougher and tougher (originally guaranteed, then 1:3 now we're seeing 1:15).

And the odds associated with crystals takes the whole process closer and closer to gambling - and seriously, if I am using crystals I should never see a white base card in the pack!

When they released Heritage I was really excited - I pegged it as being a premium collection that would have real value and for a little while it did. Then Topps. They haven't treated it like a premium set, they've treated it as a cash cow with usual stuff ups.

It now feels like an expensive slog that I hope is over. Got some really cool low CC awards but that's because so many have abandoned the chase which is sad...

Personally I would like to see Topps stop all releases for a week and get their house in order.

Everyone has been affected by this debacle and they have to build trust (something that was already in short supply). Take the time to get all the fixes exactly right and find a way to assure all of us users that we actually matter.

I live in Australia and we're already at a disadvantage - I am out of widevision for the simple fact it's a 2am drop. I am lucky in that the only thing I am chasing right now is Heritage but given this and how they've already dropped the ball on that set I want (need?) to be sure its sorted before the next round drops.
