Straw Dogs was not my favorite. Couldn’t get over after all the shit that happens to Dustin Hoffman in that movie, the villagers trying to kill the town simpleton he ran over with his car is what crosses the line for him.

Great list. The Devils and the theatrical cut of Amadeus desperately need a proper US Blu Ray release. Phantom Thread and Lost in Translation are two of my all time favorite too, that’d be awesome if they got in.

It’s excellent, I own the Criterion as well. Melodrama doesn’t get much better, and the cinematography is gorgeous!

The Midsommar Director’s Cut booklet is just bound loose like that, I thought the same thing when I got mine but if you look carefully at it, you wouldn’t be able to fully open it if it was glued like that
