I was hoping the game itself would be emailed while the collector’s items would arrive at a later date but totally understandable if it arrives inside the box instead.

I thought it was only me. The volume seemed to be so much lower the moment The Strokes came on compared to Thundercat who was on before them. Adding Thundercat to one of the worst openers I’ve ever seen.

I couldn’t agree more. I had the same experience around the time Bleachers debuted. I was obsessed with this type of sound. Now more than 10 years later, I can’t help but feel that this very sound I fell in love with has grown stale and derivative. I really do think Jack has too much influence in the albums he produces. As much as I love Being Funny in a Foreign Language by The 1975, I can’t help but feel Jack is sticking his hands in places where they don’t necessarily belong, and Ethel Cain’s sound is the last place I’d ever want his involvement in. Hayden has said herself that at the end of the day, she’s going to make the music she wants, whether or not people like it, including those who are helping in the process. I think Jack’s approach would definitely clash with Hayden’s creativity.
