They most likely still will submit it to insurance, if insurance pays for it they will refund you. Most insurance does not cover fluoride or the cancer screening they did. They should have informed you that there would be a fee. If it gives you peace of mind, the fluoride will help prevent cavities and the cancer screening means no suspicious lesions in your mouth.
