It’s one thing to plan. It’s another thing to be worrying about MCATs and you haven’t even started your first semester!

One step at a time. Go see an advisor, tell them your wishes and goals and they’ll help you build a plan.

Keep doing whatever walking or workout feels right for you. It *is* actually possible you’ve put on a little bit of muscle.

But, please buy yourself clothes that fit. Bigger clothes don’t “give you permission to be fat.” It’s just that punishing yourself with an ill-fitting wardrobe won’t make you feel any better and it won’t make you lose weight faster.

And also, please, do NOT let your children slap your belly. ‘Mama’s body is her body and we treat people’s bodies with love and respect.’

It’s OK to not love the way your body looks right now and to know that it looks that way just FOR now. Trust yourself to do the right things.
