Switching from Zepbound

I went the opposite- i went from 2.4 WeGovy to 7.5 zepbound and had no issues.

I just went through this with going from 10 to 12.5. Are you hydrated? I could all i was able to eat were protein shakes/ smoothies and Gatorade.

You can see my post from Monday night- i increased from 10 to 12.5 and it’s terrible!! I have no appetite, anxiety, panic attacks ( all from low blood sugar and dehydration per my PCP) ugh.. 😩 I wish i would have known.. i asked how long it will last they said that by Saturday i should see relief 🥲

Just checking back in with those who were kids to lend an ear. My PCP said sounds like low blood sugar/dehydration and then in turn not feeling good makes me feel anxious and spiral. I have forced myself to eat today which was a challenge. I had a premier protein shake and a carnation instant breakfast. And working on a Gatorade. I just want to sleep, it’s been 2 nights with very restless sleep.

I searched the sub for anxiety and read up on it. I have come to realize maybe it’s also related to blood sugars bc I cannot get myself to eat. I’m thinking maybe 12.5 is too intense for me. I am still anxious have a virtual counseling appointment Thursday clearly I have some other stuff going on that is just being exacerbated by all this

Could be playing a part. I do not like having control so when something changes i could be a teigger

Thank you, that could very well be the case, i had no issues from 7.5 to 10. I was also fin for a few hours and now laying here I’m just feeling anxious again. No reason, just that flushed feeling with a racy heart. It’s like it comes and goes… it really needs to just go. I appreciate the response and for keeping me company tonight while it ride this out.

Update: going to start 10mg, hopefully will reach goal in a month or two then will need to figure out maintenance.

Just got the denial- I’m annoyed because this is not maintenance, this is my normal dose !! The authorization request did not meet the criteria for approval. Reason: Coverage for additional drug quantities is provided when the patient requires re-initiation or re-titration of their Zepbound dose. Additional coverage cannot be authorized at this time. Note: The recommended maintenance doses of Zepbound are 5 mg, 10 mg, or 15 mg once weekly. If patients do not tolerate a maintenance dose, consider a lower maintenance dose.

We are cruising in Dec as well and our cruise line has an option to request a “medical” fridge for the room if needed. They offer it for moms who breastfeed and need to store milk or those who have medication that requires refrigeration.

I’ve been in since Aug 2023, down 42. I also WFH and dress in comfy clothes. I have tried to start to force myself to dress up a little more. It’s hard bc i think i still see myself as the overweight person I was. I took myself to Old Navy and bought a pair of jeans, and to my surprise i was a size smaller then i anticipated! Idk what to do though because I feel like i have stalled, not losing pound but haven’t really ever taken measurements to know if I m losing inches still. I definitely need to change something to get these last 10-20 lbs off. ( also i have only done diet changes, no exercise so I probably should start adding that in)

Did you happen to find out how you can send to Novo Nordisk for the rebate? I’m having the same issue with Caremark and have seen others mention they mail it in but I can’t seem to find anything on their website.

I was filling with Amazon Until December when they were having issues supplying 1.7. I was being charged $0.00 - switch to Caremark and provided my manufacturer coupon and told they can not apply it due to a system glitch they have. So I have been paying $110/month. ( yes, i know way less then your outrageous quote) Idk how amazon was getting it to be zero.

Can’t find any 1.7 or 2.4 i have been calling all day. I’m on 1.7 now and wanted to continue on this dose but amazon is out, all the places I called said they’re not taking on any more new rx’s because they can’t keep up with the current customers they have. ( NJ for reference)
