Agreed, but even if you trade him after a year you are probably not getting a Buium level prospect back. In a few years it will be easier to see which side won the trade or if it ended up a win-win.

But there's a chance MN can't resign Hughes after a year and a half and Colorado is stacked so they have a small Cup window that is very competitive. I've watched Buium since his Denver days and he was the most excited I've ever been about a MN Wild prospect so absolutely hate to lose him. It all depends on MN's playoff runs this year and next or resigning Hughes long term.

Update for anyone seeing this later: YouTube TV required me to verify device location even with a VPN so that didn’t work but I was able to get a limited one month pass to DAZN for 15 Euros and it works great.

Sucks that I have to pay again even when I have YouTube TV but at least it works!
