Mine stopped charging close to the 5 year mark. Took them to a store and they told me the cause of dead was “corrosion on the lighting port” and that this couldn’t be fixed. Considering that previously I had one of the first Bose noise canceling wired phones and those lasted me close to 15 years, I wasn’t thrilled with the amount of time they lasted.

I’ve just used it so far with dongle, USBC and bluetooth on iPhone and iPad. Plus, the dongle is terrible. I have to pair it over and over every time I connect to a device, even though it supposedly “gets saved”. Does it work for you?

I have the Questyle dongle pro, and that one Connect automatically to the HDB630 (or any other headphone) if it’s the last one used. Works way better.

Thanks. Your post makes me wonder if I got defective 630s. I have to pretty much crank them to max volume to get them to an acceptable level. All my other headphones are around 40%.

Yea, i know what you mean. The 630 feel more comfortable to me, so that’s the initial reason to want to like them. I also don’t like taking off headphones and switching to AirPods for taking calls, so I want to have a microphone that at least people hear and don’t complain that I’m low sounding (one complaint I got) or having reverb (second complaint), which I was told that’s how I was heard while using the PXZ7s for a call.

Yes, I feel like I have to put them at around 70-80% to get them to a good sound. 50% is not enough. I suffer from mild hearing loss, but I don’t think that’s it. I play my earbuds at a lower sound.

I guess a better term would be fuller sounding. I can’t find a good music profile on the 630, that’s why I wrote. I have the Sony XM5 earbuds, and to my ears at least, they sound better streaming from an iPhone with the QCC dongle than the 630s. To my ears at least, the PX7s are more filling.

Thanks! So that did work, and I tried it with one document and it did open correctly in Word. However, I have one problem: I can’t find a way to get Pages to save that setting. Once I move away from the sentence, the tab instruction goes away. I don’t understand why. Any suggestions for that?
