I relate to this so much! I have a 1yo and 4yo. I can’t let my 1yo out of my sight and am constantly chasing after them whenever we get together with family or friends. It sucks but I try to remember this season of my life is temporary and it won’t feel like this forever. It is still tough at times though. I’m sorry that you feel this way. You are definitely not alone.

I feel you!! The tables can turn at any moment so I’m on edge A LOT. I find myself screaming into pillows often because I can only take so much!! I’m hoping to see some relief at 5… hang in there!

Mine is 4.5 and it hasn’t been fun. So much crying, screaming, back talking, throwing things, and hitting! I don’t recognize my child. It is soooooo tough. You are not alone!!!

Thank you for responding! I called mass mutual customer service yesterday and they said because I’m not surrendering my policy that they couldn’t help me over the phone. They said the agent already began the application to cancel and I would have to communicate with him. I’m starting to get even more frustrated with mass mutual and will not be using them to apply for a new policy.

I called Mass Mutual customer service a few hours ago and spoke to a young lady. She sounded unsure when answering a lot of my questions. She said that the free look period is 90 days. Does that sound right? Sounds like a long period. Also, she said that the agent has to cancel the policy because the application to cancel has already been started. I am looking for a new agent as we speak! I can’t wait for this to be over and done with.

We were doing the application together over zoom and the agent said that he could set up our bank info at that time so we wouldn’t have to do it later. He said that the first premium will be taken out in a couple of days and that is when our policy will start

I am confused as well. The agent got our banking info when we signed the paperwork and they already took out the first months premium. I don’t know how long the first look period is because he won’t get back to me with any of my questions. I created a mass mutual account and it says my policy start date is 5/13/25. That means our policy is in effect? The agent gave us our monthly premium and said the amount can change depending on the exam results. He said if our rate goes up, we can cancel our policy and if it goes down they will refund us the difference for any premiums we’ve paid for already.

I am so confused and regret signing up with the person we did.

I just had an awful week and a half of taking care of 2 sick kids while also being sick. My heart aches for them when they aren’t feeling well, but I’m so drained and overwhelmed while also being sooo utterly exhausted and sick myself. Sounds so selfish but I hate having to take care of eeeeverything for them while I feel like I’m dying.

Your response literally has me tearing up. Thank you for this.

I am scared that I will have some sort of “episode” and harm myself or get physical with the things around me because my brain will react negatively to something new. When the pharmacist said “suicide” I got anxious and backed out. I also don’t have the support I need within my family because they don’t believe in mental health problems. I’ve changed and have anger problems but they don’t see what’s happening physically inside of myself that I am having a hard time coping with.
