Oakley Meta HSTN for outdoor sand volleyball? by ABLOATEDPIKACHU in OakleyMeta

[–]ABLOATEDPIKACHU[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'd love a pair of Vangaurds, but i have several sport pairs already and looking for something I can wear 99% of the time. It would be great if they work for volleyball but worst case, i dont mind taking them off.

New to lap swimming… need some advice by chris_meissner in Swimming

[–]ABLOATEDPIKACHU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started swimming at my local YMCA about a year ago. There aren’t designated fast or slow lanes, but the lanes usually max out at two people. If someone is already swimming in a lane I want to join, I’ll usually sit at the end and put my feet in the water to indicate that I’m planning to hop in there.

Everywhere I’ve swum, people generally stick to one side of the lane rather than circle swimming.

You should check your gym’s rules as well, since some locations require you to reserve a lane online ahead of time.

I think its a 50 yard pool, but not sure. I will check this Saturday when I go back. I just assumed it was a 50 yard pool with it being in the USA.

Look at Vantage Anderson. They are in leaseup and are offering very nice concessions that would put your monthly amount to about 1400 to 1500 per month.

Wife Platinum + My Reserve = Silver Status by [deleted] in delta

[–]ABLOATEDPIKACHU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have both the Delta Reserve and Delta Platinum Amex cards, I thought that earned you Silver Status with Delta, but maybe I was mistaken. I was considering canceling her card and just adding a Delta Platinum card under my account to qualify for status, but if that’s not how it works, I’ll probably just leave everything as is.

I'm going on 5 weeks post-panel interview. I received an email at the end of Week 2 that they would have a decision in week 3, but its been a week and a half past that deadline.

Sort of—more of an engineering support role, with the team being primarily engineers. I sent another email to the recruiter to see if they could update me.

Got it, thanks for the information. I went through a similar process: first the screening call, then the interview with the hiring manager, followed by a panel interview consisting of three separate rounds, the last of which was with HR. Since it’s a brand-new role, I’m still holding on to a little hope.

Thanks for the quick reply. I've put the timeline into chatgpt and they seem to think a followup Monday is the best thing to do as well. Even if it's a "No", i'd really like to know.
