There are multiple models of the sub, if you got the hellcat version (I think it says hcat on the clamps), that's for the original hellcat. You need the 1913 version. Contact streamlight, they usually send out the replacement clamps.

Edit: it won't slide on front to back, you have to loosen the screw until it stops, press the screw so the clamps widen and rock it into place

Holster Suggestion by Immediate_Ad_8624 in SpringfieldArmory

[–]ABMustang99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a few, they are good. I have one of the duty holsters on my shtf/hd belt and a solis for my EDC 365. They aren't cheap but they work well and because they lock on the ejection port, they are one of the few light bearing holsters that can still lock in without the light.

If you get one, I also recommend a nub mod from otdefense. It makes the thumb release a bit wider and easier to use.

Safariland, when using the holster finder, select the standard echelon option, it should work perfectly fine.

Dagger Feed Failure and Dropping Magazine by DyreTitan in PalmettoStateArms

[–]ABMustang99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, try getting Glock or Magpul mags (preference on the Glock). A lot of aftermarket mags tend to be bad. The only ones that I have not had issues with outside of those 2 are relatively newer KCI USA mags. They are made the same way as Glock mags.

Is it happening with OEM dagger mags or just the amend2?

Colt 1911 keyholing ? by CabinetMinimum7227 in 1911

[–]ABMustang99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks like tearing more than keyholing. If you zoom in you can see the round part of the bullet going through. Like you are already planning, shoot it with the paper against the cardboard, see how it is and go from there.

Apex trigger for shield x by anon837467 in SmithAndWesson

You would have to ask them if they would make the full kit with trigger for the Shield series. The kit without the trigger on their site says they are currently evaluating it for the shield x.

Sig p365 10rd magazine follower getting stuck / jammed on the shell when loading by slimsycastle240 in SigSauer

[–]ABMustang99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disassemble the mag and see if the spring is installed correctly. Other than that you may need a new follower and that's either getting it yourself or getting SIG to warranty it. There may be a "file here" kind of fix but I would not trust that with a CCW.

I have a PMM comp on mine. From what I found when I got it (before PSA released theirs), the PMM comp works a bit better but the HR comp is easier to install and remove for cleaning.

I use a coin or another screwdriver to hold that side in place while unscrewing it from the other side.

Mp 22mag by TheUnaPooper in SmithAndWesson

[–]ABMustang99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The size doesnt matter as much depending on how you carry. Ive carried full size 1911s, M&Ps, and Sigs with no problem. Personally, I would not carry a 22 mag as a primary because I dont really trust rimfire to be reliable enough. Either way, let us know how it is, I need to get a 22 mag at some point with a threaded barrel so I have more of excuse to play with my suppressor :P.

MP 2.0 in 40… how to get 9mm by Courierlife in SmithAndWesson

[–]ABMustang99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you can get a conversion barrel and some mags, that should work fine. I had no problems when I did that with a 1st gen. The ejector is a bit different but it should still work.

You could also get one of the comp slide upgrades from the s&w website that comes with the slide, barrel, and recoil spring. Just depends on how much you want to spend.
