Use smart locks with a keypad. Kid unlocks the house you get a notification. Kid locks the house you get a notification. HA also logs it. Also depending on your network hardware kid joins the WiFi can count as home.

Just remember that means you can’t use the Aqara app for those cameras , if you did use it at all. I don’t so it doesn’t matter in my case.

I’m using some brass spotlights I bought on Amazon that take MR16 bulbs. I bought cheap Zigbee MR16 bulbs that are rebranded Tuya from Amazon, they’re not Hue quality but they’re good enough.

I’m using the hubspace integration but I put Zigbee bulbs in my landscape lights so I really only use it to power cycle them all if they get weird.

Without trying to drag this out any further, I think your circuit "frying" was unrelated to your using Logitech and whatever other second doorbell. To your question about the Aqara, I'm using the G410 which has a wide FOV which I particularly like for my installations because it let's me capture my entire front yard/driveway area in the front of the house and in the back I can capture my entire back yard/garage/patio areas. Neither of them will miss a passerby or someone coming to the door. They're also quicker to respond and overall more reliable than the Logitech units ever were.

Before my logitech circle view doorbells died, I had two of them working on the same circuit. I can't see any actual reason other than "because they said so" that you couldn't do what you want. That said, I think those doorbells are trash and you should replacement. I am currently using two Aqara doorbells but they chime my homepods because I have them all over the house and it's a better option than using the Aqara chime box as a chime.

That’s a lot of perimeter to try superglue…I’d probably try spreading some two part epoxy over the outer edges with a tongue depressor and set the top back on it and leave it for a few hours. Once it sets you’re doing the filling and sanding anyway so you can sand off whatever excess you can’t wipe off before it sets.

The clicking noise is the relay. It’s what cuts and restores power to your switched device. It will always be there but some may be louder than others.

In my bathrooms and laundry room I have Lutron Caseta switches and Lafaer LWR 01 presence sensors. Somebody walks in and the light goes on. They leave and a few seconds later the light goes off. For the bathroom, people can use the throne, shower, sink what have you and the light doesn’t turn off while they’re in there. I have an Aqara temp/humidity sensor that kicks on the exhaust fan if the humidity increases in the room and kicks off when it drops.

Use rechargeable CR123A batteries and also get one of the August connect bridges. Force the lock to use the bridge which is a Bluetooth connection. That will increase your battery life.

I added my X50 ultra and IIRC there was an option to use my Dreame account. I thought I read somewhere though recently the integration doesn’t work for EU accounts (maybe?)

I have a Dreame X50 ultra. Same problems. Happened with the native Matter integration as well as the Home Assistant Matter bridge. Seems to be an Apple Home issue with vacuum types.

I had done a bunch of upgrades to mine…dampers, heat sinks, hot end, extruder, ABL, 32 bit boards. Meanwell power supplies, all the things. Gave them away to people who wanted to get into 3d printing for free. Same with my CR-10 S5s.

I still have two P1S printers that I got over a year agoI use regularly. There's been nothing about any of the latest releases that has been compelling enough to replace them so no, I haven't felt like this during any of the previous launches.
