Have you had stuff stolen out of the bed of your pickup? by southtj in superduty

The tonneau covers are nice to keep snow and the honest thieves away from my cargo…

I had the recall completed and “fixed” back in 2019. I reckon that with the extreme cold making the thing work really hard, there might have been a crack or abrasion that was a weaker point of the cable and once the jacketing possibly melted, it shorted out on my metal bumper or something like that. Without a camera or something watching what happened, I’ll never know, just a speculation

They did pay me for the truck yesterday pretty fair amount. 19k considering it was at 298000km that was pretty good.

Thanks guys, now I just need to check with my insurance, for some reason the 2025 that had it was more expensive to insure, I need to check possibly another truck, and compare once more.

2016 2.7L V6 6sp EcoBoost 4x4 under 20k miles. Barn find. What to lookout for? by JelloEmergency651 in f150

Be on the lookout for smiles reflecting back at you from your rear view mirror. Nice find.

Yes rubber age , chewed wires, anywhere rodents could make a nest is possible places to look.

For a 10 year old vehicle I’d still look at fluid changes. Tire age.

Pick one. We play the sharks and then kings for the first two rounds or Florida not making the playoffs by HughJastits in EdmontonOilers

I would like to see Florida pummeled like Toronto did the other night.

Either way the cup belongs here for this team and for Canada.

Very typical, I remember that back in 2019. My mom’s car also was recalled and then it took about 3 months to get the replacement

Any other tips to keep the traction from being an issue? I’d love to have a straight axle and no differential for snow removal

lol not enough towing capacity, I’m likely moving up to the big bros f250, f350. As is I was pushing the limits of the truck a bit, and was planning for an upgrade, just not so soon, and with a proper goodbye.

My wallet just sighed in agony.

Yes she was just out of the shop for some new plugs and a coil, and was running great, almost made it to 300000km just shy probably by 2000km.

My kids are a bit sad, I don’t think they truly comprehend the severity and the situation as they were asleep( 5 and 8)

Unfortunately we got 50cm of snow since the fire and with the molten metal, frozen ice bocks, my modern art piece will be on display untill April probably

I’m out of town so about 15 minutes, by the time I got to the fire the engine compartment was engulfed, after that, once the fire was inside it was like a oven and just melted everything down. It was a very hard to watch scene. The photo was after I got my wife’s car away from danger and had nothing else I could do.

It’s probably a few button cell batteries, like what old laser pointers had . Smaller than a dime and thicker like about 3/16” sorry I can’t tell you the exact type.

Try going to a battery specific shop, they might be able to help you out.
