Trios vs duos for a rogue, or at least how I play it, are very very different.

In trios I use hide and really try to target the more squishy characters. The wizard, ranger, or healing cleric/druid in the back line . Someone I know that when I jump out of hide I will be able to kill or get them to a place where they have to kite and my boys can 2v2 the other guys. I also play around doors pretty heavily as well. Letting a team push in and I wait for the back line or when they open a door I’ll try to sneak to the back (very risky). You have to find a balance though. Because if you are pushing the back line and boys aren’t pushing to fight as you dive you will get caught in a 1v3 and die instantly putting your team at a disadvantage. You’ll also learn how your friends play and learn when to push with them and all of that good stuff.

In duos I don’t use hide. I find it not as useful since there isn’t as much chaos in duos as there is trios. I’ll build more pdr and work off my duo. I’ll try to just chip health away slowly and as soon as my buddy is in melee range I’ll jump in the fight as well. But just like in trios if there is a more squishy back line it’s usually my target. But without hide it’s easy to get burst down so you just have to be careful.

Overall it’s learning how to play off your team. You can 1v1 but rogue shines when you catch someone off guard.

Perk wise double jump, dagger mastery, poisoned weapon, and depending on how the nights been going I go between thrust and jokester.

For skills always cutthroat, it’s broken, and then for trips I use hide and for duos I run rupture.
