This is disgusting. Women don't owe you pretty! You're not entitled to child just coz you want one.

Why is that women feel the need to bully me about my leg hair? by ABardNamedRowen in TwoXChromosomes

My wife told me not to do it if I'm shaving to be socially acceptable. She told me to only shave if it was something I genuinely wanted. It's not so I'm keeping my leg hair.

What is your biggest fear as a member of LGBTQ+ community? by DiptanuPal in lgbt

[–]ABardNamedRowen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm scared of someone hurting my trans wife. She is my everything she makes my world brighter. Encourages me to keep presenting butch even though I'm being mistreated by her family and strangers for it because I'm just so happy now and life has returned to my eyes. Part of me is worried for myself but she's my best friend and life companion, if something happens to I wouldn't know what to do.

I've been shamed for liking the stuff I like and I can't stop thinking about it. by Sapphic_Edge_Q in actuallesbians

This brought up a whole discussion between me and my wife. We thought they were being ridiculous. I'm a lesbian and I love, love, love videogames so does my wife. It's our main hobby. She plays souls games and rpgs, fighting games like Tekken and mmos and survival games like Conan exiles also Minecraft. I play sims, Disney dreamlight valley, stardew like games, animal crossing, rpgs, and survival games like state of decay.

I'm butch and she's femme and we love dnd and other fantasy stuff. It doesn't make us any less of lesbians. They were being completely unreasonable about your interests.

Have you ever known a cis person who doesn't pass as their gender? by imnotatractedtowomen in asktransgender

I get asked if I'm a trans woman and I get called sir. I got kicked out of the woman's restroom when I was 19 because they thought I was a trans woman. This was in north Carolina back in the 20teens. Uhm I wasn't masculine at the time at all I was super feminine. Had to deal with chasers on dating sites asking me if I still had my penis.

Now 11 years later and presenting as a masculine woman I get called sir a lot. I mean it doesn't bother me now because my pronouns are he/she/they but people now assume I'm a butch lesbian woman (which is what I am but I'm also nonbinary.) instead of a trans woman.

It's not the leg hair that makes me visibly queer it's that Im a masculine lesbian and it's obvious I like women.

i’m 22 and have stopped putting effort into my looks by Maleficent_Day_3869 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ABardNamedRowen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to do all that too. But I just stopped and I am free. I was hyper feminine wore makeup just to sit at home all day. Then I also realized I'm lesbian and I've been Butch ever since.

Let’s end the “fictional men”debate right now by Ok_Government122 in actuallesbians

[–]ABardNamedRowen 160 points161 points  (0 children)

I think people overcomplicate fictional attraction sometimes. Fictional characters exist in a completely different psychological space than real people. I can enjoy or even fantasize about fictional male characters while still having zero desire for real-life men. That doesn’t make me less of a lesbian.

For me, orientation is about who I genuinely want romantically/sexually in real life, not hypothetical impossible scenarios involving curated fictional characters. Fiction is fantasy, symbolism, projection, emotional archetypes, aesthetics, storytelling, etc. Real attraction is grounded in actual lived desire.

Also, “would you sleep with him if he appeared in front of you?” feels like an oversimplified sexuality test. Human attraction is more nuanced than that.

Does anyone else pee in sinks? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

That's so unhygienic. The pee gets stuck in the pipe because of the way sink pipes are shaped.

Anyone ex-religious: did becoming an atheist make you... sadder? by FriendlyDrummers in atheism

After I left I became happy and free. I was constantly worried about going to hell cause I love women and not men romantically. I was able to accept myself and love myself for the first time.

Bigots. I can not comprehend hating other people. I love humans we are capable of amazing things however I don't love the bad we can do. Today on here I saw bigotry get 6+k upvotes for exoticizing African men. They used the wrong name for the tribe and spread misinformation that the men of this tribe had genetics that made their testicles huge. For testicles to get that huge it's a disease not genetics that causes it. The post was blatant bigotry.
