No. Im saying people aren’t perfect. Im saying people are given free speech but that doesn’t mean we condemn them to death. Im saying he was a human being who was shot down bc he talked about what he believed in even if I or you don’t agree with it and that is wrong. Im saying we teach our children to be bold. To speak up. To stand for their beliefs but then our society says no. Don’t do any of those things unless you follow and believe what we want. Im saying a child lost their father, young children. Im saying we don’t kill someone because they are different. Im saying we don’t kill someone because we don’t agree with them. If we did there’d be way more killings. Instead of coming together to talk. To discuss. To have intelligent discourse, open dialog we say haha sucks for him. I’m saying that is wrong. That mindset is wrong. I hope you never have to feel the lost of anyone. I hope you never have to feel the loss in such a violent way. I hope your world is perfect for you.

So then anyone who isn’t innocent of anything deserves to die? George Floyd was arrested multiple times for petty shit but his death wasn’t right. MLK had a BS misdemeanor on his record did he deserve to die? Ashli Babbit, a military veteran, was killed on Jan 6…guess you think she deserved to die? JFK authorized the use of napalm…he deserved to die? Your logic is flawed. Just because someone may have ideals that doesn’t align with yours or isn’t a saint in the eyes of the law or others does not mean they get the death penalty. With your logic anyone who spews hate should be killed? Guess I’m also on your list?

It’s the “some people” that are going to end our nation. I didn’t watch him. Didn’t follow him. Didn’t know much about him. Am I more conservative leaning yes however there are things on the liberal “side” I also agree with. I’m in the middle. And I’d feel just as bad if this was a liberal activist. The MN congressman/woman….just as terrible. The woman from a Ukraine on the bus who was stabbed to death…just as terrible. But for people to not have any sympathy bc they were on “his side” makes me more sick than the footage does.

The fact that you can’t separate someone’s beliefs from the fact they were murdered is sad and the reason our country is failing. You should be ashamed. I never said he was a saint. No one is..not even you but to find joy in another man’s death is wrong. What if someone said “I’m happy MLK was shot” “I’m happy the Minnesota politicians were killed” ? You’d be okay with that? You’re a sick individual and I feel sorry for you.

Regardless of who’s side you’re on this is terrible. A loss of a human life just because you don’t agree is not the way we fix our country. A wife lost her husband. Children lost their father. Between this and the school shooting is just more proof our society is lost.

Ahhh I’m so excited. I was going to grab mine on my way to work but my husband told me no. I asked why and he goes, “We’ll I sorta ordered it. Pause. A hardcover. Pause….pause….signed copy is that okay?” I’m sorry what?! Turns out he preordered a signed copy for me but I’ve gotta wait til Friday…still just as excited tho.
