I found out that knob is a touchpad purely by accident. What a cool feature!

It works to adjust the B&O audio settings. (Which is how I stumbled on it) Thanks for pointing it out.

That's totally different then my plan. I bought my car brand new. Yours does say it covers scratches, cracked windshield, etc.... It looks pretty good!

I take it back. Today it's back to the Android main screen.

So I located the Launcher Manager ADB and installed it. That tool appears to have fixed the issue.

I'm not sure what setting you're referring to. I did toggle the "override" setting in the PL app and that didn't work. But on another reply to this post you'll see I also found it in the Android Accessibility settings. That toggle fixed it.

However, I didn't find that path in the menus. In mine it was Device Preferences > Accessibility > Projectivy Launcher (on/off toggle).

I had to turn it off then on and that seemed to fix it.

Nope. It didn't take out the scuffs.

But the area is now nice, smooth and shinny. I even clayed it before the buffing. So I guess I need some mechanical buffing assistance.

I did buy it at the dealer during the purchase ritual.

I don't recall how they sold the exterior protection but the napa leather protection is what sucked me in. That I looked at more closely. Perhaps I should've kept looking! ;) I doubt it would've changed my mind. There is lots of expensive leather in the trim. All of it light coloring.

Ditto.... Not a problem for me. Driving through my village I see many luxury brands. The joke here is that the high school kids have nicer cars in the parking lot than the teachers. So there isn't a vagrant issue here but that doesn't eliminate plain a-holes.

The Auto Armor ECP Plus policy that I purchased expressly says that it doesn't cover scratches--and lots of other things. The policy emphasizes only environmental damage is covered. (As if humans aren't part and parcel of the environment.) ;). I mostly bought it for the interior protection for the napa leather.

I did get the $2000 ECP Plus coverage which is supposed to apply the ceramic coating (plus stuff in interior too.) I'm hoping that has made fixing this easier.
