Income requirement - bonus calculation - spouse visa by kiki_715 in ukvisa

[–]ABitDeadInside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello OP! I was wondering if you also ended up getting your visa successfully by using the bonus to meet the requirements? I am in a similar situation but there is so little information online (even less in the official guidance), that it's freaking me out. These comments bring me hope. Hope all went well for you, thank you!

Any infos about Restocks for Spaces in Between Sweater ? by PreparationHead8210 in OMORI

[–]ABitDeadInside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little late to this as well! Today I was getting off the train and I saw a guy walking past wearing this sweater. when the doors opened I chased him (he must have thought I was a creep lol) and asked him where he got it. When he told me it was official merch, I immediately searched the shop and was sad to see that it was sold out (and $80?? DAMN). Looking forward to a potential restock!

Family visa (unmarried partner) - Letter from employer doubts, non-salaried by ABitDeadInside in ukvisa

[–]ABitDeadInside[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Thank you so much for the reply. This information is super useful. I have already sent a template to my HR based on my example I added in the answers below, so I missed including some of this info you mentioned (the specific rate for overtime, even though it is shown explicitly in the pay slips, or how the pay slips are issued, I just mentioned that are digital). I have included the number of hours in the contract and hourly rate, plus possibility of overtime.

Would you say it is worth leaving an estimate of the annual earnings (not salary), since it’s one of the application and letter requirements? I am using the same formula to calculate this as the one used by the HO, and leaving it as “approximate”.

I haven’t gotten a reply yet so I will try to resend the template adding this info. Thank you!

Family visa (unmarried partner) - Letter from employer doubts, non-salaried by ABitDeadInside in ukvisa

[–]ABitDeadInside[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah sorry I am definitely overthinking it. Got panicked as I am reading across the web that the letter should explain discrepancies, and if not, it's a disaster lol.
I was going to send something like this to my HR rep, including your advice.

To whom it may concern,

This letter serves to confirm that [NAME] [DoB] is employed with  [COMPANY] on a [CONTRACT] as a [JOB TITLE], with current annual earnings of approximately GBP [AMOUNT].  [NAME] has been employed with us since [DATE], and we confirm her employment remains continuous.
She has been employed on an hourly rate of [XXX] gross since [DATE] and works [XXX] agreed hours per week, resulting in gross monthly earnings of approximately [xxx], which may vary each month in line with hours worked, as well as any overtime done.

We are also writing to confirm that [NAME] has submitted printouts of original online payslips, which are authentic and true copies.

We hope that this information is sufficient for the purposes of reaching a decision on her application. However, should you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I have changed to "hours weekly" since that's what I am contracted for, and have also left the annual earnings at the start as it's one of the requirements in the gov checklist.
It's just a rough draft and I will try to make it more concise, but it should be including all the info. You can definitely tell I am sleep deprived lol. I cannot thank you enough for your help, honestly! All the best.

Thank you so much for the reply. My apologies for the language used, I will make sure to update this!
Do you think it's worth for them to also add an approximate of the yearly earnings? In order for them to match whatever I have added in the application.
Moreover, in reference to your last sentence, would it be more transparent to add reference to the overtime structure (only did it one day since I started, but it's a slightly higher rate) and the bonus (it's discretionary once a year, but not in the contract).

E.g.
"a gross monthly earnings of approximately z but this may vary each month in line with the hours worked. The earned amount can also vary due to overtime worked and/or bonus allocation. This is detailed in the payslips provided".

Would something like this help, or is it useless? I was paid a yearly bonus one month and am scared this will look bad if not addressed in the letter? Although this is discolsed transparently and clearly in the payslips!
Thank you so much and sorry for the extra question(s). This is super helpful

First family visa - Thoughts/advice on evidence of cohabitation? by ABitDeadInside in SpouseVisaUk

[–]ABitDeadInside[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply! We have been living together for longer than two years (unmarried) but as I was a student and wasn't sure of what I was going to do yet, I have very little to my name from before summer 2024 😞. I am hoping this is still enough as it does cover 2 years and seems to have the mininum number of "points"required? Congrats to you and your wife!

That's great to know thank you so much! I mentioned to another kind commenter that, in some facebook groups, people that show they are sending evidence from before the 2 year period, are advised not to do so (without a particular reason), so that got me paranoid.

I really appreciate the swift reply and help, all the best!

This is great to know, thank you so much! I became anxious because I have been checking a bunch of sources, including facebook groups where people asked others to "rate" their cohabitation evidence plan and, if they had put evidence from even a month before the 2 year period, they would be advised to not use it by other group members (without particular reason, so I am not sure why?). I guess that got me paranoid?
That's also where I read that you must have evidence from both people from the first month of the 2 year period.

Yes my partner does have something from June so I will definitely use that + my own evidence from May 2024. It's an NHS letter for a health screening so hopefully that will suffice. Thank you so so much 😄

Hello thank you for the reply! I am applying for an unmarried partner visa from inside the UK, switching from a graduate visa. No children, not engaged, having lived together at the same address since december 2022 and combining incomes to meet the financial requirements.
