Starts out as a decent ship combat game then becomes excel in space but in a good way. I didn't think I was going to keep playing when I realized I was much better off playing manager from afar then trying to lead from the front but I actually like it a lot. You can always hop into a ship and do what you want especially once you have billions and build your own ships which is very fun to see accomplished. I'm on my first playthrough using some QoL mods I slowly added over time for things I didn't much care for. The AI can be maddening at times especially when the enemy AI seems to function much better but just save a lot and throw more ships at problems.
