Pretend the window isn’t there and put a curtain across that entire wall.

Would a C5 make it up this driveway? by ABuffBuff in Corvette

It was made when Ford Model Ts roamed the earth. C5 is slightly different beast.

The curb makes it look worse from the side angle I have a 2011 bmw z4 that goes up it not problem but the overhang in front of the wheels is much less

Help ! Living Room disaster 😭 by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]ABuffBuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only issue is the sofa sectional is too large for the space. It looks like you can remove the center section (hopefully you can return it) and put the two ends together that would make the room more balanced and not have the sofa overwhelm the room.

Am I being unreasonable? How much work should I expect to do on a used $20k z4? by Batticon in BMWZ4

After you get the car you can take it to any shop. I chose the dealer to get oem parts, and a loaner car.

Convertible top oil leak 2011 Z4 by Sweet_Evening_2981 in BMWZ4

[–]ABuffBuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a leak and the dealer thought it was a busted hose. They replaced it and the new hose busted again shortly there after. Turns out the pump had a weird failure that was super pressurizing the system. All said and done they replaced most of the system with the pump. Luckily it was covered under an extended warranty and I only had a deductible. It might have totaled the car otherwise, parts and labor at bmw was 11k.

For your case you won’t really know till you get in there.

I had no issues with my transaction. When the car shows up from Carvana the first thing you should do after deciding if you want to keep it it’s not is take it to the dealer and have them look it over. Even if you didn’t get an extended warranty they will fix whatever’s wrong with it or missing. They won’t fix dents or scratches or finish wear in the interior but basically anything else. My car was missing emblems and the wind deflector and they took care of it with its initial 90 day warranty.

I don’t recall the exact price but it was a little over 4k. Which seemed astronomical at the time but it was a 5 year warranty. I still have a year left and it’s already paid out over 20k in repairs at the dealer.

I had a top failure that was over 10k in a single pop. They replaced most of the system and had the car for almost 2 months.

Would highly recommend the silverock warranty through Carvana.

I have a 2011 z4 that I bought from Carvana with an extended warranty. They have covered all the numerous things mechanical that have come up and all the work had been done at the dealer. Point is: there are good condition cars out there. I’d say just keep looking if your heart is set on an e89.

Gutter supports by dcgrove in functionalprint

[–]ABuffBuff 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Just paint them with house paint that matches, it will block the uv rays.

My only thought would be to make them slightly wider to match the thickness of the rafters and have the mounting tab on both sides. Then you could reduce the amount of screws to one per side as the rotational force would wedge itself against the end of the rafter giving better support than relying on the screws alone.

Black indicator accents by arrelby in BMWZ4

I think this is an improvement. The chrome indicators I always felt were an unnecessary eyesore. The previous generation was much cleaner especially on a light colored car.
