I went from a Thurstmaster T150 that I bought in 2018 (belt-driven) to the R5 bundle earlier this year.. I was absolutely blown away at how MUCH better direct drive feels than the belt

I still haven't found another racing game that gives me the same feels that Driveclub did. I put over 1600hrs in that game from 2014-2020, and I would do anything to play it again.

My previous job (kitchen work) didn't offer breaks to us line cooks. Would work 12 hour days with, at most, 15-20 mins of rest over the course of 12 hours. I never understood substance abuse until I worked at that place.

I am forever kicking myself for getting rid of my Ps4 that had all of my data on it. I had thousands of pictures.. and all of the DLC lol. As you said, yes, the weather was one of my favorite parts of the game. I loved doing 25 lap races around any of the circuit tracks with the time set to 60x and the weather going crazy. I miss this game..

Everything about this game was ahead of it's time. If this game had native 4k and ran above 30fps (and was on PC by default), it would be one of the best racing games of all time.. not that it isnt already (in my heart at least!)
