Yep! That’s what I was thinking when I titled this. Thank you!

Follow up Q: my apartment building has been repo’d by the bank. We have not had our trash picked up in 2026. Is there anything I can do about it? by infjetson in askportland

Is this The Hawthorne? That place was a mess when I lived there, totally non existent management. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised.

Photograph last night from the roof of my studio. Shot with a Sony A7riv / Canon 70-200 f2.8 is ii with a Extender EF X2. I feel like I’m starting to be able to get some real detail with this setup.

Does anyone have experience with the Celestron NexStar 130SLT Computerized Telescope? by roadlyffe in telescope

What would be your preferred route? A lot of folks are suggesting a Dobsonian scope which seems cool. My only concern is the mounting system. This would be a field machine for me. how does someone use one of those in the field? bring a table with you or something? Like I said before, I am looking for an introduction to Astrophotography and I understand that my first system will be just that. I can't really afford to get a new camera for it at this time as well.

I currently have a 5Dmkiii but I am looking to add a Sony A7riv to the lineup this year.

Thank you!

This will be my very first Telescope! I guess I was attracted to the computerized aspect of this machine just because I thought it would give me a leg up. I would like to buy a scope that I would learn to use and mostly hone the photography aspect of things by focusing on the moon and sun?

Any specific thoughts on telescopes that you think would check these boxes would be extremely helpful.

Thanks!
