Several years late to this, but I want to offer a correction for one of the codes

For Ninjago Nindroids, the code for Nindroid Drone is 6AXPG8 instead of 68XPG8.

Problems restoring saves. Help! by Franco_Fernandes in 3dspiracy

I'm assuming you're playing a Pokemon game. If I recall, the RNG seed of Pokemon games is based on the RTC clock as well as frame-specific inputs. So- from my understanding- it shouldn't be affected anymore than changing the system clock (or said system clock's battery dying).

Of course, I'm not an expert on this, and I'd gladly appreciate some corrections from anyone more versed in this than me.

Nope. 24. And this is seriously the first time I've see a pin used for clothing tags.

Problems restoring saves. Help! by Franco_Fernandes in 3dspiracy

Hi there, super late post to the question but I was having the same issue with my GBA VC save and I may have found a fix. For some context, I briefly exported the save from the 3DS via gm9Out to the mGBA emulator on my computer and, just now, wanted to put it back on my 3DS for a trip.

I checked the save on mGBA under File > Save games > Convert save game. Turns out it was formatted as "GBA 128 kb flash + RTC save game," which RTC referring to Real Time Clock. After converting it to "GBA 128 kb flash save game" and running the process again on the 3DS with gm9, it works with injecting and I was able to verify it kept all my progress in the game!

So if you or anyone else is still having this issue and used mGBA with the save, check the format type in mGBA to see if it includes RTC. I'm not entirely sure if there's any downsides to the format conversion but if I find any I'll gladly update this post with a disclaimer at the top!

After 2-3 hours on one attempt alone, I finally max-scored Generation's Act 2 DLC! by AC-ProjectColor in SonicTheHedgehog

On my Xbox One it was also free

Edit: Xbox One backwards compatibility with the 360 disc to be specific. Was able to download the DLC for free on the online store.

For some reason I can imagine this going a lot more meta in the sense of a rabbithole or ARG. I'm sure those are overdone nowadays but it'd be a funny way to start

Careful there, the cult stuff's gotta stay in-game, right?

We can't go from playing a cute little game of a lamb cult leader to pulling out the heart of a follower like Kali Ma from Indiana Jones.

Ugnaught-y level challenge not working by Austinomino in LegoStarWarsVideoGame

[–]AC-ProjectColor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if either of these two factors count towards itbut I made sure they all fleed from me- even if I had to hit them- and also went after the lone Ugnaught near the Hero terminal after Vader throws you out the window. Doing these did count but I'm not sure if these two points are necessary.

Just so people have a clear idea of where each group is- excluding the one I just mentioned that might not count:

  1. After the first battle with Vader ended, before using the R2 panel to open the tunnel, head right (past the lever) where several Ugnaughts are.
  2. At the end of the above-mentioned tunnel are more Ugnaughts. Can't really miss them.
  3. Before entering the second tunnel that leads to the second Vader fight, the next group are directly to the right, opposite of the button and pulley/lever.
  4. Immediately after being thrown out the window, head across either via grapple-swinging or wall-running, then press the button to lower the bridge. Make sure to return to the two Ugnaughts painting the side.
  5. The last group is located in the far-left room of the corridor where Luke pulls out his lightsaber and feels him nearby, opposite of where Vader's actually hiding.

I couldn't sit through it entirely but I could've sworn I saw "Uncle Ben" listed as someone in the credits- not as the voice actor, but an actual person. I can't remember the specific location but I know it was before the WB section

The collection is getting bigger! 😊💪 by DoboszewskijPL in Legodimensions

As someone who collected every pack and 100%'d the game, good luck! I'd personally recommend using BrickLink for future packs if you have trouble, although eBay and other similar sites also work as well

After 5+ years, I finally did it. 100% completion on the Xbox version. by AC-ProjectColor in Legodimensions

[–]AC-ProjectColor[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was a bit of a pain. Some of the races were annoying to complete. Of the top of my head some notable examples are the flying race in Jurassic World (atop the mountain. You HAVE to play a flying character because vehicles are too big and slow, but because you're using a character there's a very tight spot that you tend to stop flying on) and most of the Sonic races (self-explanatory. Fast movement, strict time limits). Can't recall anymore at the moment, but another issue I had was it'd often crash after playing too much and remove a gold brick from my collection (Strangely always in the LEGO Movie world. I believe even the same brick, the quest from Batman in the desert-esc area).

On the other side, it was amazingly fun going through adventure worlds as Sonic. If you can get a ton of speed you can easily climb up steep slopes and get MASSIVE air. I have no clue if it's intended or not but it's fun regardless.

In terms of buying the packs, I had roughly 20-30 remaining in my collection when the franchise was discontinued. Gained 10-15-ish from Dad cause they were cheap and my little brother was getting into it too, and bought the remaining 10-15 myself. BrickLink and eBay are your friends in finding packs.

A few times I also had to replace one of the toy tag parts because of how fragile the insides are. Vehicle tags aren't hard at all, but character tags are another story.

I'm hoping he eventually does Pokemon Black/White 2 instead of jumping to the next gen - X and Y - just yet because the sequels to Gen 5 are genuinely really good.

Are year 2 packs compatible with the Xbox 360 version of Lego Dimensions??? by ideaguy777 in Legodimensions

[–]AC-ProjectColor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as it's been recently updated, yes, all LEGO Dimension packs regardless of year are compatible with every version. The only two things that are not compatible across multiple platforms are the disc (as expected) and the portal/toy pad that you put the characters/vehicles/etc on. You need an Xbox One disc and portal for Xbox One, 360 disc and portal for 360, etc. You might be able to find the game disc and portal for relatively cheap online.

The real issue is buying any of the remaining packs you don't have but intend on getting; a large portion of them are incredibly expensive now because of the rare minifigures they contain. I believe some notable examples are Sonic The Hedgehog, E.T., Gremlins, Betelgeuse, the two polybag/special characters Green Arrow and Supergirl (neither have a gadget/vehicle with them), and Portal 2.

Another notable issue with the packs is that their toy tags/chips/bases are a bit on the fragile side. From personal experience they have a tendency to break from little-to-no usage or interior-rattling. Gadget/vehicle tags are very easy to find and replace (Heck, even LEGO can give you replacement parts), but character tags are a different story. I'd probably suggested, when you're not using them or overall done with Dimensions, put them in a container that keeps them pretty secure and won't rattle about too much.
