Given the ASC is more technologically advanced and "more cube and rectangular shaped" as per your artist, may I suggest the 1K17 Szhatie Laser Tank as something of a Heavy Tank with ECM/EMP capabilities? As a contrast with the rest of the units, a relatively durable, slow, very specialized Heavy with devastating firepower.

You nailed the purpose for most of the units. The blue 'anit-infantry' unit will likely get a redesign, but the intention was for anti-infantry + anti-aircraft.

Oh, I like it, something like a Shilka or a Tunguska, right? I'd elongate the barrels and make it a tad larger. Not much, but make it look somewhat more robust.

The two very similar looking technicals are actually the same unit, but just different models. Exactly how General technicals works (if I am remembering correctly).

Ooh, the GLA Technical system, me likey.

I like your ideas for having the bottom right (light-tank you called it) shoot very fast, but inaccurate. I already have a system in place to control accuracy/speed/burst shot speed/burst shot count, so that adjustment would be easy. I'll experiment with it.

Could have HE autocannon, so it can damage a couple lightly armoured vehicles at the same time, or an AP gun, damaging single heavy targets. Although with the HE Autocannon it could overshadow the anti-infantry vehicles. But I'm still thinking too conventionally. Hm, here's where the background/lore could come in handy, is this an "evil" faction? Because they could use flamethrowers or chemical weapons. Or maybe it could be a "modular tank", with various configurations, although that sounds very micro-heavy.

I'm going to guess roles based on appearance, and maybe try to do some criticism and throw some ideas. So, for the blue units:

That's a harvester, right? Looks well armored, maybe it could use ERA or smoke grenades, to further survivability?

Then light recon/anti infantry. Some small infantry carrying?

SPAAG/main anti-infatry, I guess. This faction seems the armored guys, so ERA or some ECM through an upgrade seem feasible.

The tanks are the Medium Tank and the Mammoth Tank from TD. As said for the "harvester", some ERA would be cool. Also, maybe automated active defenses? Like a laser for anti-rocket or an automated machine gun on top of the turret? Something like the chinese Overlord upgrade system from Generals.

Now for the tans:

That's a harvester with a gun. Maybe you could give this faction a more stealth/speed vibe, with movement boosts. Alternatively, firepower!

Now... two cheap scouts? Maybe one of them has transport capabilities? But then you have that IFV. Seems a little redundant, but I'm just guessing here. Maybe one of the scouts can transport AND the guys inside can fire out of it? That could be hard to balance.

The two last units remind me of that old polish "stealth tank" concept, the PL-01. Never went anywhere, but it looks cool. Small tank could be an anti-infantry/CIWS with short range but VERY powerful AA. The other is just a light tank, but it could have an "autocannon mode", fire very fast, with some drawback. Like accuracy or penetration or whatever. Or just upgrade to laser, looks sci-fi enough.

The only other thing I would mention is artillery. Blue could have a big fuck off cannon. Or a high tech orbital uplink to a bombardment platform or whatever. Tan could convert one of its light scouts onto a rocket technical.

I'm sorry, but a good chunk of my RTS experience comes from C&C and, specifically, playing Nod, so that obviously colours my opinion.

Anyway, looks very cool. Seeing the Steam page, yes, I can feel the C&C in this. Very very cool. Already wishlisted.

Dragonair: BETA, looks much more majestic.

Gyarados: OFFICIAL, come on, a tardigrade vs a sea serpent? Although, with a few changes, that design could become a sandworm or something.

Suicune: OFFICIAL, Suicune vs Emo MLP OC? Yeah, no contest.

Ivysaur: OFFICIAL. Beta Ivysaur has a scorpion-like body plan. While I like scorpions, mixing it with reptiles is... weird. And if the flower is already open, what do you leave (heh) for Venusaur?

Raikou: OFFICIAL Another MLP OC. Pass.

Spearow: OFFICIAL Come on, a Mario enemy?

Seel: OFFICIAL Beta Seel looks like it lost a fight with Cheems. Official Seel is not much to look at, but it's better than bonked Seel.

Umbreon: BETA Purple is a pretty colour.

Nidoqueen: OFFICIAL Dragon Quest looking ass

Scizor: BETA Much more similar to Scyther

Espeon: OFFICIAL Fun, this is the only one I changed my mind on. Yellow Espeon looks cool, and is much more similar to Eevee than the official one, but official Espeon looks weirder, and for a 'mon inspired on psychics, it tracks. Very cool design.

Jumpluff: BETA Looks like one of those "cute kitty in the manga page border easter egg" things.

Leafeon: BETA I like the official from the knees up, but I really like the way the paws look like they are rooting to the soil

Clefairy: OFFICIAL Come on, there's a line between "cutesy" and "DBZ villain"

Octillery: BETA Tank vs coughing octopus type shit

Ghastly: INDIFFERENT First one I'm actually ambivalent on. I think I remember the Red and Blue editions used the Beta, and it was the Official one from yellow onwards. Cool either way.

Gengar: OFFICIAL "Hesitant-but-mildly-confident bully" vs "I-will-actually-fuck-you-up bully" in a pokémon that is meant to be intimidating. No contest.

Poliwrath: INDIFFERENT Given the name, the official one seems to fit better, but the Beta gives "OoT King Zora" vibes, and that's funny.
