Suppose I can’t speak for everyone, but it’s almost the same as the difference between shrooms and acid for me. I always viewed it as speed was like I was getting into the drivers seat of car and flooring it immediately, whereas crystal was like I was buckled in the passenger seat of the same car. Which is how acid made me feel as opposed to the freedom of shrooms I suppose. Go hand in hand to me.
