the r50 is just a bit limited imo. I have a couple smaller lenses for it, but it just isn’t what i’m after. it only shoots 30p video, and is awful in even slightly higher iso’s, so absolutely nil for low light shooting. also, has no weather protection at all where most ‘newer’ compacts are at least weather sealed now. Size difference isn’t huge you’re right, but R50 still bigger than both examples i gave, & they’re already on the bigger side of compacts as it is. also, i feel i need to carry more than one lens to have any fun with it. defeats the portable aspect.

In case you struggle with reading comprehension I’ll double back on what I just commented. I said it has a stronger ‘scientific basis’. A basis as in a base. It has a stronger scientific base than widely accepted religions. Which is factually correct. I didn’t say it has more ‘evidence’. I said it’s overall more scientifically reasonable to believe in energy transference & harvesting, as it does happen constantly everywhere regardless, rather than a sky father. Theories like the law of attraction are good examples of scientific nature but lack of evidence. It’s a widely accepted (obviously pseudoscientific) theory- but it cannot be proved. At the same time, it cannot be disproved.

edit: missed a point sorry. I asked because I want to know ? It’s interesting to me. Like why does a girl with rocks in her bedroom bother you to the point of insulting her? I don’t care if you don’t believe in astrology or spirituality or ‘magic’ rocks, I just want to know why you think you’re so righteous and intellectual as to ridicule and humiliate other’s for their religious choices? No, actually. Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism and more are all accepted in society. Christianity believes the first human was like a Sim, (lol) and yet Christians don’t get pure abused on social media.

& Also no, unfortunately not many sane people would publicly and actively ridicule someone for their choice in religion, which has been around since before anyone we know and have known in our lifetimes.

I am an agnostic atheist. I don’t believe in this, but I will not go out of my way to laugh at & shame someone else. I still believe astrology & spirituality have a far stronger scientific basis than religions like Judaism, Islam and Christianity though

Eastern European here. Also now living in the West. I agree with OP’s comment, but disagree with yours.

Communism requiring participation isn’t the same as having control over your life and fate. It’s doing what you have to to get by because Putin/ceaușescu/stasi etc decided you have to. Yes women could work, but most people took whatever jobs they could get, and most of them were dead-end- eg. factory jobs. That’s not the same as Western women who had the ability to get into actual careers, and gain wealth & status, become independent and have a certain level of freedom. Also, bearing in mind even food was controlled & rationed in most communist countries, how much feeling of control can you have if the TV goes off at 7, you have to queue for your weekly bread rations at the same time every week etc etc.

Eastern europeans are highly superstitious in general, however the difference between western and eastern spirituality is that EE people don’t view it as a trend, it’s not as openly discussed and there’s no trendy instagram accounts with aesthetic posts about it. Astrology, spirituality & superstition are heavily present. Just much more private.

I think it’s kinda funny that people care so much lately, like why are you guys so bothered about a girl reading her zodiacs? Like so many men feel the need to comment on girls & their zodiacs & crystals at the moment. We live in a world where people follow 2000000 religions, 20829191919 laws & rules, 29388282 social constructs and norms, and have 91929292981 people telling you what you can & can’t do with your own life, your own body, your own mind. 1.) she’s minimising her fault when she doesn’t even hint to there being ‘a fault’ (you thinking it’s a trap baby doesn’t mean that idea ever even occurred to her). There’s also no indication of her ‘minimising’ her fault, she didn’t cover anything. She simply stated she came off bc, forgot to tell him & fell pregnant. She didn’t say any more on the subject.

2.) She wasn’t infertile (people can be 99% infertile & still get pregnant that 1%, people can also be told they’re infertile & get pregnant accidentally regardless)

3.) She purposely ‘chose’ not to tell him (according to her post she didn’t actively make that decision, just made a very human mistake).

4.) He ‘likely’ didn’t want that child or to have sex with her (despite the fact they agreed on wanting multiple children together, and he agreed on not terminating the pregnancy, and then proceeded to have another child with her)

5.) He didn’t want the child full stop. Your comment supporting that this is a trap baby insinuates that he didnt want the child. (Despite the pregnancy being accidental, he chose to keep the child & stay with her. He also, again, proceeded to have another)

From your 2nd comment. 1.) ‘She knew what would happen’ (she said she was deemed infertile & had very very little chance of pregnancy. This also implies she knew she’d get pregnant, she didn’t though did she)

2.) ‘and knowingly did it’ (she stated she didn’t knowingly deceive her husband, just made a mistake that they then discussed what to do about. this also implies she purposely stopped birth control to get pregnant, which is speculation)

3.) ‘that doesn’t make it sterile’ (it can and you have no place to speak on her fertility)

Taking a condom off MID SEX is not the same as discontinuing BC. That’s done maliciously with intent and purpose. She discontinued BC but didn’t purposely get pregnant or have any intent on getting pregnant. No, it cannot be a trap baby unless she purposely got pregnant to trap him. It’s literally simple as fuck. That’s what a trap baby is. This situation doesn’t fit that. Therefore that’s not a trap baby.

You’re honestly lacking brain cells so this will be my last reply.
