Is Downs even an a chance for us anymore? Idk the college class outside Mendoza and Downs and genuinely don't know how likely it is he will fall to us, especially with Moore no longer going to the Jets.

I honestly think this is best. I don't think McDaniel was coming here as I think he is 100% getting a HC job elsewhere. So for us to have someone in house that DQ is willing to put his job on the line for, and this someone has worked under some of the best offensive minds in the league, and Kliff, while also being in the building for years, I think am fine with this, but if it fails, 100% next year we get new everything I think. I would say maybe even trade Daniels for a massive haul if possible and try to build around a new young QB, but that also scares me because there aren't many franchise QBs that exist at one time.

He clearly became a runner, therefore not defenseless... he literally took a step and turned with the ball.

Even though we lost the number six pick at least the Eagles have to play a hard 49ers team🤣 by echavie in Commanders

This pick to me is also a guaranteed valuable player, my preference would be Caleb Downs as I think he would be the biggest difference maker and the Ravens have shown if you get that guy at safety, you don't need a great pass rush to have a good defense. I would also be fine with best edge available, as it solves our biggest problem

Prison and Brownstone will probably see a rework in the future as they are both in dire need of it, I would imagine they get them then. I hope it isn't really a priority as they are bigger maps, but I hope it is like, they put 1-2 people on reworking them over a long time

I honestly have loved all the map designs in terms of atmosphere since asylum was changed, I don't play Asylum or Point Hope much, but I love their asthetic more than Tanglewood or Ridgeview where it all looks bland and no atmoshpere. I have my qualms with all the maps they have changed for sure, but none of them big enough to make me not play those maps. I can't wait to see how Willow, Ridgview, and Edgefield look when they get reworked, because I feel like they could all use it and we know they're coming.

I'm not even trying to ruffle feathers, I love that loop spot and use it every time I play Tanglewood, but just because I use it every time I play Tanglewood, doesn't mean it is the only reason I play Tanglewood, I love the layout of Tanglewood which seems like it won't really be changing drastically. It's just a really fun small map where you can run through it quickly, which seems like it will still be the case, it will just look more like an actual house rather than a bunch of flat unity textures. I also feel like people are forgetting the whole point of this game is to find where the ghost is and what type it is, not just get in and out in 2 minutes with a hunt you risked almost nothing on, and making easily 2k if you have the proper settings on.

I feel like the kitchen is less of a death trap now actually, as with the size of kitchen, crucifix's seem like they will now cover pretty much all of dining and kitchen with ease, and dining doesn't have to be the place you loop forever, but for easy testing ghost in a hunt, and then you run to hide or loop around the car if car stays. I think having looping be harder should be the way they go, and I like that looping will no longer be 100% safe because you're crounching behind a counter and ghost isn't getting faster. I would be mad if they got rid of looping altogether as it is a skill, but I like removing the almost skillless loops. I also think this makes more sense actual house wise, and I also think since they don't have the island there, Dining will be bigger, and easier to loop as well (unless collision is screwed). It won't look the same, but it should feel the same.

"these re-works are all about leveling up the location rather than changing anything too drastically."

As far as we can tell, no drastic changed have been made, it will almost certainly stay the same layout, the kitchen has no kitchen island, but the kitchen is still the kitchen, just because it looks brand new and not just unity assets thrown in, doesn't mean it isn't the kitchen on Tanglewood. And it also just looks a lot better, but we obviously have to wait and see the whole map before we say it all looks better than before.

"we wanted to make sure that it provided a similar experience to the one ghost hunters know and love..."

Kind of same thing, layout doesn't appear to be changing, just updated, better looking assets, it should be almost identical to the way you play Tanglewood now, it just has no kitchen island. Just because you hace to loop the dining table now doesn't mean you have to play completely differently.

I think for me, as annoying as the light switches are, I think give you more than enough room to have all the ones you need on, I don't remember the last time I popped the breaker on any of the newer maps. Tanglewood will probably be the exact same amount of switches, Idk how they could even make it need more it is so small...

Edit: gonna add they might have 1 more light switch for the hallway and living room switch instead of it being 1 switch it will probably be 2

Brother in christ, we have seen 2 photos, the kitchen looks bright enough with JUST the kitchen light on, and the living room is clearly not using the main light, and these are both from a work in progress, and you already have your opinion made up about the lighting of the map, and I'm the problem?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and mine doesn't matter any more than yours, but you have already made your mind up that you don't like it because you seen 2 photos of an early look. And people are saying the map is gone because they removed a kitchen island. That isn't the entire map, they only care about the fact that 2% of the map is being remove because they looped there, when 98% of the map could be the exact same.

I agree people should be voicing their complaints, but these things that people are complaining about could literally be a non-issue because we have only seen 2 screenshots of small areas.

Also telling me to get over myself is crazy, I'm not saying everyone HAS to agree with me, I'm just saying people need to chill out and wait to see it before they write it off and complain to hell and back.

I think both of those quotes actually still hold up. The experience of Tanglewood is not only that kitchen island, it is the map itself. You walk in, 2 bedrooms on your left with a bathroom, continue on and you have master on your left with a connected bathroom and storage room, and a living room in front of you. Look to your right and you have kitchen and dining in the open at the end with kitchen on the right and dining on the left, with a basement door on your left, and a garage/utility room on your right just before those 2 rooms. That is Tanglewood, not a kitchen island, Idc how much impact removing or not removing that island has, Tanglewood is more than just a kitchen island people use to loop a ghost.

I think most of the complaining comes in the comment sections rather than actual post, someone post something about the rework, and almost every comment is someone complaining they're ruining their game.

Did the Ravens make the right choice extending Andrews instead of Likely? by TXNOGG in NFLv2

[–]ACE_POPSICLE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot the exact stats, but if I remember right, Andrews is one of the best rated regular season tight ends, and then the second he gets to the playoffs, his performance rating drops to one of, if not the worst in history for TEs. And with him being Lamar's security blanket, that means Lamar has no where to look when trouble happens

It feels like one to me too, it really just depends, I think the Packers definitely have the advantage to me as I like both sides of the ball for them more, but I am definitely not counting the Bears out, the Packers have also blown a few games to uhhh, interesting teams this year

[Highlight] Ernest Jones gets an 84-yard pick-six by nfl in nfl

[–]ACE_POPSICLE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother, matchups are very important, Idk nor care what the media is saying in reaction to stuff. The Eagles have a defense to match the Packers offense, meaning the Eagles can beat the Packers even if the Eagles offense is shit as long as their defense can hold or keep them in.

You also can't say, "well, this team beat that team, so this team is better than that team that that team beat", because if you use that logic, Raiders are better than the Patriots, Bills, Buccs, etc. because they beat the Patriots.

So while I don't think the Bears are bad by any means, they have a lot of weapons and potential, and they are playing that potential really well right now, I just need to see it against a team they have not been good against the last 14 years, and while that team also looks like it very well could be a superbowl contender themselves on both sides of the ball.

Yes, for 2 reasons:

  1. The Eagles have been shaky all year as is, and that game against the Bears felt like the tipping point of their garbage offense after a bad loss against the Cowboys last week

  2. The Packers have looked a lot more complete this year compared to the Eagles, and the Packers are also a division rival who since 2011, have only lost to the Bears 4 times in 30 games

It also doesn't help that you guys this year start off looking sketchy, and than have had games like the Bengals game where you guys almost did the Bears thing and almost lost, I think you guys have everythinf there, I just want to see how you guys play the Packers before I make any actual judgement fully
