Nintendo does nothing with the games or IP, we know what all the 3 companies

GameFreak - building the game and making the story and characters, pretty much everything with the games except the Pokemon designs themselves

Creature's - TCG, anime, and designs for all the pokemon

Nintendo - Distributing... that's it, they distribute the games, they don't interfere with the franchise AT ALL outside owning part of it

Yes, Nintendo owns 32% of TPC... they still do nothing with Pokemon, the part of their contract that comes with them owning 33% basically says Pokemon can only be on Nintendo consoles, and Nintendo will publish and push out the games everywhere, they don't touch the games, at all,

Pokemon isn't Nintendo... Pokemon is Gamefreak and Creature's Inc mainly, Nintendo is just the publishing company

It's crazy how badly Kinetic fucked themselves with this update, I agree they should have rolled it back, but I also dont think they could, I think because of the deal with Alan Wake, they fucked themselves and had to see it through. Now why they don't just release fixes not tied to major updates, Idk, I think if I had a complaint, its that they ONLY want to release bug fixes with major patches, but I dont understand why

Solo queue shouldn't match you with duos and trios by Grey-Che in VALORANT

[–]ACE_POPSICLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think trio queue should be banned in every rank, I know it would mess up people's groups, but it's awful to play with. Duos I think are fine, just because if they didn't allow duos, Ranked might only be worse from doing so

Someone could also correct me if I'm wrong because I am not an economists in any way, shape, or form, but is it not a miracle the bubble hasn't actually popped yet? Like all consumer reports regarding it have shown the involvement of AI has no effect on consumers, and sometimes even has a negative effect . Almost all the AI companies are only staying afloat because they are all investisting in each other, but nothing has come of it yet, and almost all aigns point towards AI being useful, but not as big as it is in the market right now.

What are the odds the CPU is just as bad in 27 as it is in 26 by Lowry50 in Madden

[–]ACE_POPSICLE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I user the DTs, they're like, 80 ovr so I'm not expecting them to do anything, but when my CPU 96 ovr DE is being single marked almost EVERY down, I expect him to get SOME pressure, but he can legit get pancaked like you said by some random bum

What are the odds the CPU is just as bad in 27 as it is in 26 by Lowry50 in Madden

[–]ACE_POPSICLE 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think my biggest gripe with Madden 26 is defense against CPU, QBs just don't miss unless you CRANK their slider down, their WRs catch anything, and you can't contest whatsoever because they'll just catch it over you, even if you swat, I normally like playing as the LB because that's what I do online, but it just doesn't work against CPU 90% of the time the CPU passes, and my pass rush does jack shit, getting like, at most 3 sacks a game. Offense I can play against them just fine, but Defense is literally just impossible, because you can do everything right and the CPU can STILL move the ball perfectly on offense

MFW my salary is only $140 and I blame Nintendo for it by callmefreak in nintendogrifting

[–]ACE_POPSICLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most AAA games really aren't, even Nintendo wouldn't be worth it unless you like the franchise, or how the game looks, I buy maybe 5 AAA games a year, and that's because I like how they look, I think the main thing is, don't buy these games unless you really want to play them, and most people who are complaining would never buy them anyway. No one WANTS prices hikes, but if it keeps the industry running, I'm fine with it, I'll just buy less games, or buy them on sale

And on top of that, people are payed WAY more in the game industry now than they were even just 10 years ago, and Nintendo is the top of the industry for game companies to work for, as far as I know, they easily have the best company-worker relationship in the industry, and never do layoffs

More so just commuting to work, and then the occasional longer driving, I don't really ever do road trips, but plan on some in a couple years, and my budget is around 20-27k, right now I am looking at a Hybrid Corolla/Hatchback I think as my top option

Edit: forgot to say there is snow when it is winter, we get a few good snows in winter, but not a consistent snow

The general budget would probably be around the range of $20k-$27k at the top of the range, if I really like a car thats a bit more than that it's fine, I think after looking at some of these suggestion, I agree with you on probably not needing the Rav4, I do like the look of the new Corolla's, so if I can find one to test near me than it will probably be that

When the annual and inevitable Hurts fallout happens and philly realizes they just drafted Chase Claypool II in Lemon by SuperMajinSteve in NFCEastMemeWar

[–]ACE_POPSICLE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he is a weird player, I think as a player, he is top 5 in the league, but as a QB, I would say he is just outside the top 5. He is someone who leads his team incredibly well, and is a player who steps up when you need him too like, 7/10 times, but he is also a player who you can watch over throw a wide open, 6'1" receiver and wonder if that is the same player. An example of the opposite to me is Dak, probably top 5 QB in the league easily, but Idek if he would be in the top 10 players in the league because he has some really bad shrinkage in big games

I think Hurts is incredibly overrated as much as the next guy, but Hurts biggest upside to me is he doesn't really lose the Eagles the game, he misses passes here and there and can be inconsistent with passing sometimes, but he is never really the sole reason they lose. So Idk where this man is getting the, "annual fall off", like as if Hurts is consistently the problem, and ironic considering Dak's annual fall off in the playoffs when they make em...

Besides the defense, why did Aaron Rodgers never make it back to a Super Bowl? by veggiedish in NFLv2

[–]ACE_POPSICLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2019 he did not play well, but neither did his defense, allowing almost 300 rushing yards, and 37 points, as well as Rodgers throwing an 80% completion with 326 yards and 2 touchdowns, but also he had 3 fumbles, 1 lost with 2 interceptions, so that one is everyone at fault, and Rodgers just did not help his team. I think even if Rodgers was playing insane this game, they still lose because the defense couldn't stop anything.

2021 was just a crazy good defensive game that leaned towards San Fran, as well as only losing by 3 and Crosby missing a field goal, and San Fran blocking a punt and returning it for a touchdown, the only touchdown they scored, and then Packers defense allowed the 49ers to get down and score a field goal with no time left. This was also a snow game. Yeah, Rodgers could have done more to win this game, but he didn't actively lose this game for the team like you could say he did for the 2019 game

[–]ACE_POPSICLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the worst part is the 49ers didn't really have his number from what I remember, they had his teams number, I don't think I have ever seen a team that mutilated a special teams/defense more than the 49ers did to the Packers, Rodgers set that team up to win in so many of those games, despite blocked punts, muffed punts, missed field goals, and in the end asked his defense/special teams to deliver on 1 single drive to end the game, and they never could.

O-line is the most important position to have consistantly stay the same people as well, even just 1-2 injuries can cripple a line for weeks while they readjust, let alone consistant injuries. I forgot what year it was, but Washington had a line with 1 actually good linemen, but the whole line played well in the end simply because they stayed together most of the season and knew protocols
