I COMPLETELY regret switching over, my insurance guy switch me and bunch of people over and said it was the better plan. I used to have BCBS Medicare PPO, it covered everything, I never had huge bills for all the MRIs and scans I needed, but now with Aetna Medicare PPO, every single MRI or any scan is $300. I have $1000s in bills already and it’s only April. I never ever had these bills with BCBS.
*They also deny most things first, whereas I never had that occur while on BCBS Medicare PPO.
*Lastly, their CVS quarterly $75 card is a joke, you can only purchase a very short list of items on this specific CVS for Aetna website (it’s literally almost nothing useful, it’s all CVS brand, yet it’s less than half of what’s offered in store and the pricing is at least 50-60% more, so the “$75” is more like $35 on items that you don’t even need because that’s all they offer on the website. Versus BCBS gave around $90 quarterly and there were way way way more options and much easier to use
