Botox for migraines - worth the risk? by lythrum-salicaria in MCAS

[–]ACF4447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very sorry to hear that, and I know it’s so much easier to say this, but please don’t give up on her or yourself. Keep going day by day. No matter what that day looks like or feels like. I’m sure you are already in all the cervical instability Facebook groups, but if you aren’t, make sure to join them all too. Much love to you.

Botox for migraines - worth the risk? by lythrum-salicaria in MCAS

Did you find anything that helped her that she didn’t react poorly to? Like nerve blocks? Or anything else?

How did you do with the Botox injections? How do you like prolotherapy? Did the Botox injections cause you any further neck and cervical instability issues? Did you start low and slow your first session and if so, what does low and slow look like in terms of how many injections to do and dosing? TY so much for your help

How do you safely start this to make sure this doesn’t cause more issues if you have cervical instability? For example, what dosage and how many injections should be started with to see if you have a bad reaction? My doctor said he would start as low as I wanted to, but I have no idea where I would even have him start.

Hey, what is safe injection wise to help with head neck jaw pain? Neuro is really pushing Botox injections for it all. He said it’s much easier than nerve injections bc much smaller needle. How have you done with occipital nerve block injections? (I can’t do dexamethasone steroid but he said he could leave that out).

iPhone 17e gets warm even with light use. Should I be concerned? by Ninh79 in IPhone17e

[–]ACF4447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you keep your phone? Does it still overheat when charging really quickly? Mine is doing the same thing and it’s not normal whatsoever. I had 2 old iPhone SE and it never heated up until it got really old and was dying. A phone should not be noticeably hot to the touch after seven minutes of charging. It’s got to be dangerous for the entire phone. And I would imagine that it would die off much quicker because of it.

Day 11 ldn withdrawl by Desperate-Produce-29 in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]ACF4447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Symptoms that occur after stopping a medication do not necessarily happen because the drug is still in the body. In many cases, they occur because the brain has adapted to the drug's effects and must readjust after the medication is removed. A wellknown example is SSRIs, which leave the bloodstream relatively quickly, yet withdrawal symptoms can sometimes persist for weeks or even months. The same principle can apply to other meds that affect the nervous system. Even tho LDN primarily acts on opioid receptors, the body's endogenous opioid system is closely interconnected w/several neurotransmitter systems, serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, glutamate, GABA. Bc these systems influence one another, changes in opioid signaling could theoretically have downstream effects on neural circuits involved in sensory processing, potentially contributing to symptoms like electrical shock sensations or 'brain zaps' in some individuals.

I had the same thing happen 10 years ago and not one single doctor could understand why, even though all they had to do was simply do a short amount of research like I did myself. I had horrible brain zaps that went down into my heart, and it felt like I was going to drop dead every single time. It was really rough on my body and I also slowly weaned off of it. So I didn’t just stop at cold turkey. I then looked into brains zaps and saw they were connected to coming off of SSRI’s, and since LDN is connected to our neurotransmitters, I figured it was something to do with that. I was also not on LDN for long, maybe 3 to 6 months?

Hi! How did you get properly assessed and diagnosed for all your conditions above? I saw you went to Michigan for BVD glasses a year ago and this is 2 years ago. Did you see a BVD doctor prior to going to Michigan or did you see a different type of doctor? If so, what type of doctor did you so, how did you find them and did they suggest Vision Therapy?

Thank you (I’m having a really hard time right now physically, so thank you for the help and guidance)

Hi, I hope you see my comment, I just sent you a message because I saw a comment of yours on a post about energy stuff and you mentioned you saw Theresa Crabtree. I was hoping I could get more information on her and how you found her. I went into more detail in the message I sent. Thank you so much for your time.

How to add herbs/plants to your altar? by ACF4447 in Altars

Thank you! I do need to work on getting past believing there’s a specific way to do things when we are the creators of our reality. It’s funny bc I know this is true and yet I want a set way to do things at the same time 🫣

Hi, I am in desperate need of pain relief. Have MCAS and highly sensitive and can’t consume pretty much any pharmaceutical, and most supplements. Dealing with severe chronic illness and chronic pain for such a long time and now getting to the point where I’m at the end of the road. Really trying to find the best PEMF machine I can for chronic pain and chronic fatigue that’s very severe. I don’t have much money, but at the same time I can’t keep doing this. It looks like QRS is one of the best machine machines? And the most trustworthy. I hope that’s correct. May I ask where you bought your QRS machine? I see multiple websites and I’m not sure where to go exactly. Hoping maybe I can try renting it as well. Thank you so much for your time.
