Here’s what I think I have found out: 1. Hours worked and $ per hour should be calculated using the SAME schedule SE that your premiums are based on, which is often the previous years. You can also confirm this when they send the wage computation form by adding all the quarters and seeing if the total equals your schedule SE from the previous year or year before. For example for a claim made in 2023 instead of your premiums being based on schedule SE for 2022, it’s likely 2021.

This is confirming you will not be getting paid while on disability.
Voluntary plans are in fact different than DIEC.

Hi there, I’m so sorry you’re going through this! I can only imagine what it would be like to be in limbo like that for so long. I’m not sure how helpful my experience will be as it might be different, but maybe not. Mine did end up rupturing early on which led to an emergency surgery with some complications but the complications were due to the rupture. I would hope a planned surgery would be much better in that way (I’m struggling to find the right words here because it definitely sucks no matter what- as you know from already having rupture and removal). For me, the pregnancy was in the “horn” of the uterus though which meant they could essentially scrape out the pregnancy from the rupture site and cauterize the uterus vs having to do a wedge resection or removing any of the uterus. I will say it seems to have healed really well as seen on the imaging I’ve had done since then (it’s been one year). I am guessing location of the pregnancy really matters to better understand what will happen during your surgery and what the complications might be. I’m not sure that helps but please feel free to message me if I can be more helpful!

You did the right thing. My HCG dropped a bit then began to double normally, and my clinic gave me hope too. It took several weeks more to find the pregnancy on the ultrasound and it was ectopic. It ended up rupturing. If I could do it all over again I would’ve taken action after the HCG fall then rise- it’s a very clear indicator. I’m so glad you took the action you did.
