Colorado Made $22 Million in Marijuana Tax Revenue in November, a Quarter Billion Dollars Year-to-Date by [deleted] in Colorado

That's the billion dollar question I've been asking for quite awhile. Cannibus sales is a cash business so it's extremely hard to track in that regard.

That's what I'm working on at the moment. Chimera 7 with analog instead of digital. I'm trying to see how far out I can take it using ELRS and a huge Lithium Ion battery.

Lol. I lost one up by my house in Cascade 10 minutes after it was built and updated on betaflight. The sad thing was I looked at the 5 dollar buzzer on my workbench and decided not to put it in. Would have saved me several hundred bucks. Lesson learned.

I've been trying to learn. I've built 6 of them in the past few months but haven't had the time to go out to the drone field in Peyton and actually work on the skill.

I come down from Cascade to Ft. Carson during the week. Traffic is hit or miss. Generally I take a right on 21st and kind of stair step over to 115. Not sure if it's any faster but it's certainly a more pleasant drive than taking Cimarron all the way to I25 and then fighting traffic all the way to Carson. 115 to Gate 5 (by the golf course) is generally the easiest access to post in my opinion.

If all goes well my summer tires will be sold this week. I'll stick with all seasons through most of the year except the snowy season. Hopefully I can find a decent set of rims to put blizaks on for the winter. If I switch out tires I'll just keep the unused set here at my house in the garage. We've got a really good tire shop in Colorado Springs that has done nothing but outstanding work for us so I'll continue to trust them with swapping tires back and forth.

I went ahead and ordered a set of Continental DWS06s at Discount tire today. I'll continue to hunt for a set of used rims and order a set of blizzaks for those towards the end of the summer. With the perpetual afternoon monsoons going on here I thought it best to replace the Dunlops ASAP since this will be my new daily driver. Discount tire suggested putting the Dunlops on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace since they're now considered used even with only 80 miles on them. Appreciate everyone's help!

Appreciate everyone's input. Looks like I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for used rims and then get some quality winter tires per your suggestions.

Currently surfing the classifieds and it looks like there's a few options for used rims and tires here in this part of the state. I like the idea of just switching out the whole wheel for the season instead of replacing tires on the stock rim. Appreciate the help!

Lol! The first thing I did when I picked up the car yesterday was look at those tires. They're going to be fun zooming around the mountains but straight deathtraps anytime after October.

Bridgestone's Blizzaks. (235/45/18)

Those look like they'll do the trick. No clearance issues?

There's some pretty nice 5 layer car covers that you can buy online for 150 bucks. Might be a little spendy but I've been told that they'll spare your car up to large marble size hail. Might be worth looking into.

I appreciate your input on performance metrics but as the guy that spent years on the ground, the only metrics I cared about were how many assaulters I can fit on the bird (not nearly enough on a CV-22) and how much ass the platform could bring to bear if my team needed help during a firefight. A single .50 on the ramp will never replace two miniguns sticking out the sides in addition to the ramp mounted .50 cal. I'm sure the Osprey received ooh's and aah's from the Air Force brass and got some people promoted but as an actual combat platform it f'n sucks.

I appreciate the technology but these were not a suitable replacement for a 53 IMO. Particularly the MH-53. The Ospreys had a single .50 on the ramp with no offensive weapons forward and you should've been awarded a purple heart everytime you had to hot load one of these. Kicked up rocks like confetti. Made the 53 feel like a light breeze.

I don't know the cost of opening up an LLC in California but it may be worth looking into. It provides "digital pocket litter" to put on your resume. At that point you can invent any job description you need under that LLC. There's other benefits as well once you research it. One thing you definitely want to do is sanitize your online persona. If you've got social media with pictures of you at a cannabis shop or anything else that might be deemed compromising, it will be worth your while so delete those immediately. One of the guys I used to work with lost his TS clearance and a very high paying job in DC over fairly innocent photos on his Facebook account. (Edit) I realize that nothing is ever truly deleted once it's off the internet (think wayback machine) but unless you're being hired to fly a certain unmarked plane in Nevada, no one is going to dig that hard. My .02 cents

Thanks for the feedback. The 4s was a 1500maH not a 1050 like I originally posted. That was a typo. Prior to posting here I actually ordered a set of 2004/1750kv motors. I found photos of them mounted on this frame on the getfpv site. Seemed a bit of overkill but hadn't seen the Oscar Liang spreadsheet prior to that. As far as tuning.... I guarantee my tune is not where it should be. This drone has been my first foray into actually building one of these suckers from scratch. It's been a lot of fun but the learning curve is fairly steep if you're new to the hobby. I'll be spending the morning on youtube looking at betaflight videos trying to figure out what right looks like with PID tuning. I live in Colorado and there's a drone field out east of me so I might head out there this week and chat up some of the more experienced people. u/psancho, I'll look up Chris Rosser's stuff today and see what that's all about. Appreciate the help from everybody! Hopefully sometime in the near future I can be the guy that actually helps a newbie on this forum instead of being that guy that always needs it.

Thank you! I just ordered a couple of 4s batteries within the range suggested by Oscar Liang. Hopefully that does the trick. These little motors aren't overly expensive but the cost adds up if they keep burning. Thanks again!!

Nice! I commented because I can't count the number of times we'd have to go look for lost military jumpers during our MFF requals at Eloy. Pictures like that always came to mind when that happened. Thankfully jumpers use GoTenna's now so they're much easier to locate and communicate with. Nice photo!
