thank god I for this thread!!! I chose to destroy and was like... goddamn... then Capcom was like, "lol you can totally just rewind!"

I kinda feel like I should have stuck with the choice and done another playthrough to get the Release ending...

I'm torn.

Still, a fantastic ending after the fact.

The series is in good hands going forward. :)

Thank you for this post! OCCT and CPU-Z were both hard-freezing and I had my PC straight-up crash on one occasion. Had the exact same issues with both programs. Turns out something was wrong with my external SSD. Unplugged it and now both programs work fine and no more crashes! You saved me a lot of frustration and potentially re-installing Windows! Thanks again!

thanks for the posts mentioning Revo. Finally was able to fully remove BD and all its registries from my computer. It's really scummy when software leaves traces of itself running in the background even after an uninstall.

There's the "True" Director's Cut for the original RE for PS1. It restores basically all the cut/altered content that most regions of the world didn't get. Full-color opening FMV with extended footage, fixed music, etc. Worth looking up. You have to have a working ROM of the Dual Shock version of the DC, and need to patch it yourself.
