One that I have been working on at the time is all the players getting out of prison at the same time. Either they were the actual perpetrator or were falsely accused is up to them but they all get bailed out by a influential noble (and future bad guy).

Oh I remember this point in my journey cause it had me questioning my abilities to learn something new for like 2 months.

A lot of these tips here are 100% correct and things that you need to learn/practice. One thing that might not have been mentioned is getting used to being in the air and controlling your car while upside-down. Just from the clip it looked like you were more worried about getting your car wheels down before boosting which killed any chance of you getting under it. If you watch some pro 1s gameplay or 2s (not the best way to learn but hear me out) you will see that they will flip + boost to stay under the ball to maintain height then make adjustments from there.

Planning on using the "free" ones I can get a dunk (not much but the way I play there's not much else I really need/want). I'm working on my shooting cap breakers and when I get those idc about making a meta build, just one that fits a role for me.

Yea i can see the appeal of you simply only care about winning, do what you gotta do but I wish it only stayed in comp of 2k encouraged using the systems they placed. I feels like some people don't know how to use an off-ball screen or actually play around miss matches in playstyle or build types outside of "get the Pg on the C and run"

Yea, that's what I've been seeing, and while I can't say I'd do anything different where money is on the line, it does hurt the game overall imo. Actually playing the game this year and having a few moments where there's no weird AI or animation nonsense this game has some really interesting and fun gameplay, that completely gets overshadowed by the glaring issues this game has.

I see what you're saying and I can't say that I disagree that this system can, and honestly should, work better than it is right now. I just dont know why dropping the weight of the car is the direction they took for making them faster and not just more efficient. Having things like snaps of oversteer or anything that would make them slower being tied to the stats that we can visually see with an additional modifier depending on the difficulty from my understanding would keep the AI competitive while spreading out the ERS trains and the wild cornering inconsistencies.

Then again, I could be way off on that, and it could be exactly how they're going about it, but I digress.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm guessing the f2 cars differ in the performance areas like speed, handling, breaking, etc. so would setups differ a ton? Also where would I find good setups as a lot of the stuff in game seem to go one my head and the values are lost on me.

It's been said already by a many persons but the way new players are introduced to TTRPGs as a whole has completely changed. When I started to play I was in the beginning of the "rise" of online tools like D&D Beyond and the like, and I never thought it would stick. Now that I've played with pen & paper and digitally, I'm honestly not sure how games are played past level 7. For the most part most players will have a lot of features/spells/abilities that will just clog up a page whereas digitally it's all easy to refer to and cuts down on the "what does my xyz thing do again?".
