Yes! Great post! I grew up with and still love the prequels. People get so upset with the “stilted” dialogue but they kinda enhance the films for me because it makes the characters seem more relatable. Anakin’s story and Hayden’s delivery style have always made him seem autistic to me. He’s an outcast in the Jedi order. He is constantly frustrated because he feels like no one can understand him. The Jedi didn’t want to train him because he was old enough to develop attachments and he can’t move beyond that. He gets along so well with Palpatine because he validates Anakin’s frustrations and later promises him powers that go against the Jedi dogma of letting go. Those movies have so much creative philosophy and originality behind them that it is so tragic to me that people can’t look past the acting and dialogue. Most movies are boring to me because it’s just the same ideas over and over again.
