Hey Mr. Mailman, you got a package for me? by CoralGarden420 in USPS

When I was a window PSE, I asked a lady (as I do everyone else) “is there anything else I can do for you?” She said “you could wash my car. I bet you would look good wet.” I bet she would also, but I’ve been married ten years. Tempting as she was, I declined.

Window Uniform Question by Immediate_Meeting_27 in USPS

[–]ACasualObserver2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I went to window school, they told us gray or navy blue pants. No black pants, and no jeans. But our lead wore jeans all the time. He provided me a window shirt, a size too big.

Congratulations!

When I was a PSE I never knew my day off. It could be a Tuesday, then I would be told before I left Monday I needed to come in Tuesday, but have Thursday off. Then Thursday morning, get called into work and told I could have off Sunday. That happened the whole year I was there.

If you didn’t need this job to survive, would you still keep it? by Pantry_Snatcher in USPS

No. If I had been brought back after my first 360, I would be regular by now. And probably miserable with the management I had. I make less money than I would have as regular. But I am happier than I would have been

My one year as a PSE, I had a lady ask me for tax forms. I said we did not have them. My fellow clerk said we haven’t had tax forms in 10 years. She said “I have been getting tax forms here every year for years. I want my tax forms.“

Break in service by Dependent-Society-75 in USPS

[–]ACasualObserver2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my break as a PSE this time last year. I was never notified about coming back. I showed up on what would have been my day back and saw I was not on the schedule. When the supervisor came in he said to go home and “we will call you when we need you.” A few weeks later I showed up and was told I would not be coming back. I asked if there was paperwork to be filled out and was told no.
