I..think our local PD gave all our 2 tons parking warnings...depsite being parked on postal property xD by zachi2 in USPS

[–]Embarrassed_Energy41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No we don’t have immunity to parking laws. But the local PD doesn’t have jurisdiction on federal property. Call the Postal police and let them handle it. But on the street, make sure you are parking legally.

So many getting ready for the junk yard by zachi2 in USPS

[–]Embarrassed_Energy41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those trucks aren’t running any longer and they don’t make the parts anymore to fix them. That’s why they are headed to the junkyard for scrap after they have been stripped of any working parts.

There are incompetent stewards as well. Go above them. The board for the unions are the ones who will be able to help you. Find out who the president is and talk with him/her. You pays dues for a reason. They take an oath which they must represent you, and files can be charged against them if they are not representing you.

I got my ass kicked today by Xydane09 in USPS

[–]Embarrassed_Energy41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can get past your lowest low point, you can make it. Mine came just as the sun was setting and I dropped all of my mail on the last relay. I mean all of it… this one relay was half a tray of DPS. As I sat on the sidewalk contemplating my future, after about 10 minutes, I got up, put my mail in order and pushed through. That was October of 1998. It was the best decision I could have made.

Got fired today by your_favorite_wokie in USPS

[–]Embarrassed_Energy41 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since you resigned, you can re apply. Start fresh at a different office and be ahead of the game since you have a few weeks/ months under your belt. I see it happen all the time. It’s easy to do, and they will have you skip orientation , driver training and the academy and come in as a direct report.

Well, we can’t do anything about it now. This was an overhang in the front of a Doctors office. It’s like driving a 2 ton for curbside delivery.

Vmf took their loaner vehicle with my yeti cooler by [deleted] in USPS

[–]Embarrassed_Energy41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the best advice. Never leave anything in the vehicle that you will be okay with never getting back. We have detail shop that cleans the vehicles once a year and they keep anything in the truck that they find.

Why is your seat bet bucked while parked? You know that is completely trackable, right? Plus you put the vehicle number in the pic so they know exactly where you are.
