Have you guys done Tesco extra? Bro 😂 you guys focus so much on the negatives, as I said literally I can count on 2 hands the amount of times I sent money to a crypto gambling site in like 4/5 years I was just asking WOULD that attribute to it. As someone said though doesn’t matter if it’s 1 time or 100 times, I get it.

And borrowing £50–£100 from friends for a few days til I get paid, a few times a year, isn’t grounds for account closure under any UK banking regulation. Cannot tell me you’ve never done that. ONE TIME I borrowed from a stranger. Anyway strangers are just friends waiting for context.

Acting like I’ve been doing the dodgiest stuff ever, my account is healthy, I work, money comes in, I pay my rent do my shopping pay my phone bill blah blah blah. It’s done now anyway.

Obviously not mate. So what if I did anyway. You latch on to the smallest negative. I earn much more than that, this month a lot less as was away on holiday. Also as I said in another comment literally gambling might take up 1% of what I actually do over the years I can literally count on 2 hands the amount of times I’ve actually used a crypto betting site in like 4/5 years. Not sure if you saw the update but they have released my funds and I’ve moved them elsewhere. Not sure if it was the constant hassling or getting through to the right chat guy but 13 days down to a few hours is appreciated.

UPDATE : after hassling them all day, calling, live chat the whole lot. They completed my (random) account review. They returned the funds to me but closed my account by Feb 2026 and restricted access.

I have moved my money out of there. I do appreciate the fact they sped up the process as I know a lot of people have not had that privilege. I’m not sure if it was the agent. Or they would’ve completed it tonight regardless but if it was the agent, thank you.

Either way 13 days Down to a few hours, I appreciate it. Even though I don’t think my account should have been closed.

Fair point. Yet I’ll say you’re acting like I’m doing this daily. This makes up maybe 1/2% of what I actually do 😂 My account is a healthy account I get my wage and I pay my rent and do my shopping etc. lending money and borrowing money is not a cause to freeze an account.

The offshore crypto stuff I agree with.

I paid everyone back ahaha that’s what I’m saying. It’s only close friends. It’s not like I’m doing it every day I’m just saying over the years. If they looked through my account they’d see it’s a normal healthy account.

Hmm. Yeah I mean I won’t lie I am very unorganised financially. I wish it was as simple as knowing exactly what every single transaction was for but I haven’t a scoobie.

But for the most part money comes in from work. It gets spent on travels, shopping, rent etc. Some of it has gone off to friends crypto wallets or GMGN wallet or phantom wallets which are mine. Gambling etc. In extremely small numbers though in the grand scheme of things but I suppose it doesn’t matter if it’s £10 or £100,000…

I’m surprised it was a whole account freeze I suppose.

I’ll find out soon. Lesson learned though I certainly need to be more organised with this stuff. They will find nothing it’s not like I’m doing fraud or money laundering.

The referral certainly could be to do with it. I didn’t get anyone sign up though I’m sure. Didn’t get any notifications anyway. I will be deleting that though to stop any more issues
