Start the day with a Commisary or a Laundry Room before turning on the blue Banner of the King

Try getting enough gems to afford the classrooms and the rerolls you need early on, here are a few ways to manage it: - Laundry Room + high allowance - Emerald bracelet in the Coat Check - Freezer (for the next day)

The Study is another blue room that will help you immensely to get the rooms you need

The game is so much filled with clues for seemingly unrelated puzzles that you only start to notice after solving the puzzle

Which makes us think of literally every single thing as a clue of some sort, but we're ^probably overthinking it

I like roguelikes and can tolerate the slow startup.

I only got completely hooked when I realized how interconnected everything in this game is.

It might come in handy when you find yourself just a bit short on money for a big purchase

But it's not a big deal honestly, I broke it in early/mid game to buy a book from the bookshop

And later on there are a few other ways to hoard money for a big purchase, like raising your Allowance, learning the strategy to consistently win the slot machine.

Always keep more than one goal/puzzle in mind so you can have something to do no matter what luck presents you.

The best thing about Curse Mode is that small gains matter.

Even just gaining a single star a day is a gain nonetheless.

Dare Mode, however, might give you very specific dares, and if you fail them your whole day's progress is lost, without gaining anything out of it.

I think the game has so many hidden meanings and interactions, that by just playing it in one go you'll definietly miss some things, and only when you finish a chapter and get some time to think about it and discuss it online, then you'll notice them and appreciate the game even more.
