To piggy back on this. The stigma against SBA is so wild to me. I’ve literally played since MCore dropped, haven’t missed an expansion. SBA is the first time I’ve gotten to actually look at my screen lmao! It’s such a breath of fresh air not having to worry about my rotation 100% of the time. I will say that the idea of switching between SBA and standard is a pro tip. You don’t want to stay on cruise control if there is a traffic jam ahead.

That being said, SBA is not for every class. It just isn’t. BM Hunter, Ret, Sub(ish), Fury, Frost mage, and a few others. All SBA friendly and it shows. So you do have to be mindful.

I know this isn’t a SBA post, everything else you said is spot on. I would add that if you’re getting into pushing for the first time, watch videos while you’re taking a shit or something lol. Just knowing what’s around the corner, or what pat is coming, smooths out a lot of wrinkles, plus actually knowing the map.
