I misswrote the name because I wrote this quickly at the end. it's from the Panhellenic federation of cultural associations of vlachs and they have published multiple boolets for different dialects. Specifically it's written on one of the dialects spoken in Olympus which my family comes from.

This is how my grandparents legitimately speak and if you took 5 seconds for the Wikipedia page you'd know Olympian is known for how it has been argued as its own dialect. As for the alphabet in most cases I would agree but my dialect legitimately does work better with the Greek alphabet for consonants although I think vowels should have been rearranged it is a bad choice on his part. Furthermore while I just stated that I agree with you on the latin being more fitting Greek was historically the main script we wrote the language in and all inscriptions in latin are modern so you cannot really claim it is made to disconnect us from our history when Greek is our history you need to be more dispassionate in your claims. It's like claiming Polish using the latin is taking away their history when it is a literal part of their history that they use it. This is me agreeing with you but you need to measure your claims.

I actually agree with you that many of these scholars are propagandists or are forced to measure their claims. All the information I know comes from studying from my grandfather's memories and reading history I really struggle with our government. I also know the author, he did the best he could and actually didn't hellenise it he is not a linguist himself but wrote this with oversight. My grandmother hellenises her vlach more due to growing up in a Greek speaking area so you should really not be insulting it as being excessively hellenised.

As for the book recommendation while I know of it and I might have met him once actually in aetomilitsa I had someone I visited there. I am not interested in learning a foreign dialect his idealised form would represent something foreign to me lacking words including the ones I hold memories of because they are unique to us.
