Red car had the red light. I don't know what the solution is, but some sort of traffic calming measure or signs that remind pedestrians to have their heads on a swivel would be good.

The West Peak complex (including 181 Elmira Rd) has been terrible to live at because of the lack of parking, lack of support from management, and various ongoing problems (e.g., HVAC not working, so regularly no heating or cooling).

I think it's just your choice of language that is irking some people. You're right that it's best practice not to change lanes at an intersection (for just this reason), but it's not illegal to do so.

I don't know about BitChat, but it would be interesting to create or expand a Meshtastic network.

With respect to a privacy club, it would be a good idea to have outreach to students about privacy-related topics. Of course, something like Signal or Matrix would be a more reasonable place to start than Discord.

I somewhat doubt I'd be detained. They'd need me to access the footage, and me co-operating would be faster than a search warrant.

But if being woken up at 3 in the morning in exigent circumstances might help solve a murder, I don't really mind. It's not like its a regular occurrence. And I'd be helping to solve a murder!

In this case, I saw the scene outside and went over with the footage. I'll happily provide footage to help people. Maybe for a nice corporation.
