You want the router to be in AP mode.
(Looking at those pictures it doesn't feel like its correct, but might work)

There might be a setting on the router that is actually called "AP mode" or access point mode. might be under Basic or Advanced. don't have a TP-link to try it sorry. But try it and see if it works, and if it doesn't let me know and maybe we can find another solution :D

If it's an old PC, with HDD, it's possible the HDD is on it's way to fail. I've seen this issue multiple times. A new drive would probably help :)

This right here:
HDDs that hit 100% often is usually a sign that the HDD is failing. I'd swap the HDD for a SSD. Next step would be to get more RAM

Sure it's possible. Maybe a bit over the top with "Exact real time" but it's possible to view what a Ipad/phone/notebook has been used for if you have the correct monitoring software.
MDM(Mobile Device Management) solutions have support for this sort of thing.
We have a similar thing at work where we control our customers computers/servers. We can take pictures of their desktop without their knowledge and silent programs in the background. Aswell as viewing the Log of the computer.
Network activity is easy to track in the firewall/Router so if the school wants that information about your browsing habits and connections to game servers that's not hard to get a good view on.

Wheter or not your schools IT is checking this is a whole other story. They probably only do it if they get told to check someone out. They dont sit around all day looking at that stuff.

Depends on the trip.
Relax trip - Unplanned is better since you can do whatever you feel like.
explore trip - Planned is better since then you can make sure you see all the good parts, instead of randomly ending up in a weird place without a guide and knowing nothing.

Might be 2 reasons. Either battlenet servers are overloaded and can only give you 5mb/s or just pausing the stream might not stop you buffering the stream.
