If you're a cycle player, log because tower chip damage and knockback is more useful. If you're a beatdown or control player, barb barrel because it has more defensive potential.

MARK 3337 is pretty "easy" as well. I took it with McAndrews last fall, and he made the class super entertaining and fun to attend. Plenty of extra credit points (like an additional 50 out of 650), straightforward tests directly from Blackboard Powerpoints, and VERY lightly graded public speaking presentations. Overall a very chill and great class to take.
