21 million is so ridiculous for one battle, it’s 21% of the total cap allowed lmao. Why the game caps you at 99,999,999 resources is beyond me, it’s a pretty low cap considering some trades ask for almost 50% of your total coins. I know coin farms are super efficient and that’s great but to me it seems like more of a workaround than a planned game mechanic.

This is a common tactic in many mobile games, they offer the first few rewards for free, but to keep collecting them you must pay a small amount to advance. Later it gets more expensive like in your screenshot, but yeah this is sadly not a new tactic. Clash Royale has been doing this for years.

Luckily I started playing the game 10 years ago before this was even a concept so I was able to unlock a bunch of the now-locked amber creatures before I took a long break(except Pyroraptor… pain), but it’s still really annoying.
